Score is nothing to me.

How come your proc so low? .. Last time my X2 4600 can hit 5.2 . But now using X2 4000 droped to 4.8

donno....may be not configure well enough...

anyway, now turn back to winxp....facing some un-solve-able problem in vista....

amd barton 2500+
1.5gb ram
fx5200 64bit 128mb
250gb wd sata2

score :- 3.1

To whose can give more information.
I test my system can score only 5.4
I'm using E6750 cpu this is one of better performance cpu and why i still get the middle range.
plus using corsair Twin 2X2048-6400 G memory and this memory also mosy highly awarded memory.
But may be one of lower score it was my hdd, i'm using hatachi but i never see any comment about this HDD.
Hopely can get more helpful from this thread.

the score is base on your lowest score.. so just don't bother it. you get 5.4 is because of your hdd. 7200rpm hdd only can score abt 5.4, raptor maybe higher (not known abt it since i din use raptor). your ram score should be 5.x if you click to see the detail without overclocking. vista itself already tell you they taking the lowest score as average score when you click for the detail.

I believe you din even bother to read through the forum before you ask this

E6600 stock can get a 5.9 for processor and I'm running E6750 @ 4.0GHz and I get 5.7 for processor.

ah the 5.2 was the hard disk transfer rate ...

well just do a slight overclock then your ram score will be 5.9

Last score with my spec. (see my sig) is 4.8)

My e4300@1.8Ghz processor score 4.8
Ram 2 x 1Gb DDR2 667Mhz Kingston Value score 4.8.

Why?
I see that some also 2 Gb but score higher.

i really wonder how this scoring system works...

my rams now 4gb ddr2-800 patriot getting 5.6 (5-5-5-16).

when i was using 2gb ddr2-800 ballistix getting 5.9 (5-5-5-18).
