If u were to upgrade ur ram to 4GB, will Vista 32bit shows 9.9 scores on ram? As 32 bit only support up to 3.5GB. So is it maximum?

Eh? I mean, how can it be true then? As 32bit only support up to 4GB how can it shows only 5.9? How bout if i put a 4GB normal ddr2 ram and a 4GB cosair extreme, is the score different?

5.9 is the MAXIMUM score you can get. It's not 5.9GB.

And the point of why Vista only follows the lowest sub score instead of overall is because that's the bottleneck for your system and there's where you should focus your upgrades instead of upgrading something which was already better.

Oh, typo..Should be 5.9 score not GB. tongue.gif

So maximum is only 5.9 huh? Strange. I were thinking something like 9.9

Anyway, found this

QUOTE
The current maximum score is a 5.9. A 6 hasn't been defined yet, because Windows developers want to leave themselves room for a 4-dimensional Pipes screensaver or something. They plan to re-evaluate the scale every 12-18 months, or else in two years everyone will have machines that score a 4 or a 5.

See, browsing around or google is better instead trying to understand what does these people talking about. No matter how high your upgrades, QX or FX, 8800GTX SLI or 4GB RAM, the highest score still 5.9 as for now smile.gif even 8800GTX is already at 5.9, some more do SLI won't make the score higher

Vista subscore make things easier for user to know which hardware he/she should upgrade 1st to increase its performance

ya, this app. is only let us know about how the performance to run Vista, test it can run smoothly or not, not like PC mark or 3D mark. so 5.9 means can run smooth without any problem.
