I went up to Genting by Bus before from KTM Komuter-> KL Sentral -> Genting Bus ->Cable Car -> Genting

Goto the Genting Counter in KL Sentral(If I recall..it's 1st floor, or else ask the info counter) , buy the ticket, then take your ticket to the bus stop specially marked for Genting.

It's a fun and slow ride, from bus to the cable car, to the Genting Hotel.
But the view is breath taking in the morning on the cable car
