gerbil or any animal with teeth will bite, don't expect 100% no bite. but gerbils rarely bite, if the breeding take seriously. breeding a good temp pair is also very important part, cos kids will learn from parents

The white should be Pink eyed White and the other color should be Argente Cream...

Yups, gerbils are very smart. They know how to figure out how to even reach the top of the cover to chew.... mine even climb up their coconut chain to try and open the plastic cover door...

Tanks do not have good circulation like cages... but the plastic mesh cover is good enough lah. You can also use wire mesh that you make yourself but I do not know how well it could be when gerbils jump up and down to open the cover.

erm, when should i separate them (male pups) avoiding from "tut".. hehe..

Should seperate when they are 6 to 8 weeks old... normally the males will feel horny around that time lah. I seperate at 8 weeks old.

interested in gerbils..... cuz living in condo, many restrictions, no dogs, no cats >.<" how or where can i get a pair?

LoL.. I don't know that you are a LYN member too =_='' Anyway, you can get gerbils from pet shops or you can buy it from breeders around this forum...

Go look for nezu's thread in garage sale or since dien have pups now you can ask him whether he wants to sell and to reserve some for you.

Wah... ask me then ask here LOL... recommend never to get from petshops coz they are not always healthy and also many are inbreed... well, so far the only petshop I trust to get gerbils is petswonderland and pet family... but I don't need petshops anymore since I have many many gerbils....
