have tested both, you are not loosing out on much to be honest... the wide angle is something you may or may not like, imo not very different actually the 170 degrees resulted in me capturing quite abit if the car pillars so its sort of wasted (really depends on the car). Wider also means you lose some detail
and the adas departure system is abit annoying... it either does not work OR every damned time you change lanes, it warns you... you will probably turn it off after 2-3 months (especially driving in town, its alright long distance)

yes.... technically, u wana use slr also can, but why....
wrong lens, its also hotter than the that the action cam is designed for (hotter and longer running time)
u have to start the fella manually ( or at least turn off manually) you dont have the ability to loop record, you have to look through lots of footage just to find the bit you want.... just buy a dash cam


one thing nice... i think you can return that particular product within 14 days if u dont like it so.... yeah, if it does not meet your expectations, return je..... reason: didn't meet my expectations~
