Why is it that when I made payment with PayPal in Lzd (Malaysia), it shows the correct amount in my PayPal account, but in my credit card statement, it's 1% more? I'm using CIMB credit card. The description is Paypal Lazada 3860***** SG in my credit card statement. How come SG when I'm accessing Lzd M'sia? I've also faced a similar situation when I bought from another online company which is registered in M'sia. I was charged extra by CIMB. Last time when I spoke with a CIMB consultant, he said there's nothing they can do. Something about the online company's registered account bla bla bla. Anyone using PayPal with a similar issue? I haven't contacted Lzd about this but I doubt there's any help. They'd probably tell me to contact the bank instead.
