got this problem need help on it as brought this Grand Carnival back in year 2017 CBU unit and the vehicle grant got this clause on it

can any sifu faced this problem before and how to settle it if want to sell the car

This was due to an error in the system by JPJ and Royal custom that happened back in 2017. The dealer which sold the car, should have done the correction with JPJ back then and re-print the registration card, but it seems like they didn't do it.

You need to take the original grant to JPJ and get them to look into it. The matter should have been resolved in the system already, and if so, when you reprint a new grant , it should not reappear.

Sometime ago, one potential buyer of an old Kia Carnival also faced this issue, and I was told that he managed to get it resolved.

Hi. Bought my grand carnival 2 yrs ago. The basic variant but upgraded to leather seats and power tailgate (don’t really like the twin passenger lcds).

anyway I sent my car for service and the sensors (abs, etc) keep popping up red in the dashboard . Service center say the sensor is sensitive and need to replace. Nothing wrong with the car. Also the r parking brake sensor sometimes pops up and I have to restart the car to get the error msg disappear.

Been waiting for months and the last time I called they say parts in the port but govt don’t allow to release or something.

Is this really the problem with Kia cars? Difficult to get basic parts? I really like the car but after 2 yrs it’s starting to leave a sour taste for me because of this irritating issue.

Anyone have any idea how to go about this or a workshop to recommend fixing this? My car still under warranty.

Most likely it is the ABS sensor, which is a common issue with the Carnival YP. Some customers who do not want to wait simply source for the sensor outside, instead of waiting. Think the service centers can assist you to that regard.
