Any recommendations for a TS/Ventrilo server?

Also any websites giving instructions on how to set it up? Easy-read-mode (noob-mode), of course.

just type in server name (ip) and the port...enter pw if there is and hit connect thats all...also u have to create a new user for vent then fill up ur server infos

nope.. its big different if ur connection didnt direct to the modem.. but go through a router.

if u direct to the modem, just d/l the 'server' fill upm give em ur ip n pw then -done-

thinking of getting a TS/Ventrilo account so looking at host servers. i know how to connect on lah.

can i laff? my stomach very painful for holding it all in.

LOL, I can ask my retired toon's guildmaster. He's the one who bought the Vent server for the guild.

can but i dunno how to set up. better to use official servers. at least got better protection.

if u want to rent a ts server, goto their the ts homepage and u can find the available server for rent url, simply click on that and register it, and pay the registration and monthly payment by using credit cards, and you will have ur ts server hosted. they will then email you ur hosted ts server login information, then u can just follow the intructions to login and create channel.

Its not good for you to host your own ventrilo server, it will suck all your bandwitdh.

only reason why i ask was becoz i wanted to know which server was better rather than just blindly picked one from their homepage.

try to get the server which is near to asia. i have rent the server on US coz most of my guildies here were american, when i tried to chat with them it seems like theres a few second delays

it's either singapore or Oz then. but we'll see. no rush atm.
