QUOTE(cucubud @ Nov 10 2016, 05:02 PM) The weekend data solely on 4G is very scary. Should be ok actually. Other telcos may not have 4g network everywhere. But maxis 4g is no 1 among all telcos in bolehland. Dun see a problem with it. Some more the all day data is not little either since it has been doubled too.Suddenly while using, it dropped to 3G, then it will eat up the all day data. From 5gb now maxis gives extra 15gb in total. 4 times data now compare to the past. It is very generous already. To maxis customer. It is already a blessing. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 10 2016, 09:15 PM) actually this is my main concern too. if u have fixed line broadband at home, then no need to use mobile data at home rite?my new place has spotty maxis coverage/signal strength due to high-rise. intermittently dropped to 3g wan. if weekend syioksyiok downloading at 4g, suddenly drop to 3g, mati habis quota |

QUOTE(cucubud @ Nov 10 2016, 10:16 PM) outdoor can easily get maxis 4g signal, I dun see a problem there.like I said, if u are using 5gb maxis one. This extra 15gb is a bonus. if u are new to maxis, then it is up to u to decide if it suits u or not. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Nov 11 2016, 12:45 AM) no idea because normally I hang around Klang Valley klang valey should have no problem with 4G coverage at all. dun think it is a concern at all. not very sure about it but I did use it without any monthly / daily data, but my line is active hence I can use the free weekend data, but I didn't face any slow connection issue maybe I always hang around at Klang Valley area |

QUOTE(christina1 @ Nov 11 2016, 09:54 PM) Even with no 10gb weekend data, 10gb anytime data is actually more than enough for most ppl also actually. If one can survive with 5gb on the existing maxis one plan, I dun see a reason that one cannot survive especially now with 3x extra data. |

Sign up the maxis one 98 by doing MNP at maxis centre just now. Very efficient. 5 mins got the SIM card and all settled.
Now just need to wait till Celcom side release my line. Hope they do not try to do anything funny. Maxis Sufmore 75, the legacy plan that is with me for so long, although a bit can't bare to cancel it, but no choice, since maxis one 98 alone already can fulfill all my needs. And in this case, I will save rm88 in total per mth by keeping just one line. Before 24 nov, if I cancel the remaining Celcom first basic 38. Then will be fully on one line. QUOTE(Ultraman123 @ Nov 12 2016, 09:27 PM) but the weekend data only available for 4G area... the yonder nothing worthwhile even it is free. Library is way too poor. no point. It's useless if you are not under the coverage yea lo.... now seem only celcom provide free music apps yonder others no more??? Celcom one has a lot of restriction too. No unlimited sms, one weekend is limited to 2.5gb instead of 10gb to be shared anytime during weekend. termination they will charge one full month subscription instead of prorated no matter which date u cancel before the next billing date. |

QUOTE(stevenlee @ Nov 13 2016, 02:37 PM) I thinking to stop my Biz99 since I already sub rm128 package .. any advise which package should I covert my biz99 to?? I need data when I traveling outstation but not alway .. thinking moving to tunetalk for my second telco as backup to my maxis mop128 No point to sign those non flagship telco plan, if u want, the best alternative should be Celcom already,Maxis (no 1) + Celcom (no 2) confirm no need to worry no coverage. QUOTE(stevenlee @ Nov 13 2016, 04:43 PM) But celcom don't hv cheap plan right ? No cheap plan for Celcom. Cos if I go for tunetalk, I can opt for rm28 a year validity. So when I need data plan, then only I top up...else day I just remain rm0 while celcom don't hv this a year validity Like this seriously, just maintain one maxis line is enough Liao. I used to have 2 x Celcom plan and 1 x maxis, I can utilize 80% and above of the data per month as last time the plan has lesser bundled data. After maxis upgraded for extra 2gb, Celcom added in extra 15gb. Seriously I become purposely trying to use the data just for the sake to finish up the data bundled which this make it be pointless. Last time I keep two telcos lines for redundancy purpose also. After the free upgrade from telcos for the 10gb + 10gb that costs purely rm80 to maximum rm98 already can get 20gb in total.more than sufficient for one person. That's why I decided to go one eventually. |

QUOTE(Ultraman123 @ Nov 13 2016, 08:08 PM) If compare to spotify yonder is not that good, but at least better than nothing. To me who has used spotify and yonder before. I can say it it better to have nothing.Yeah, no more unlimited sms sad. They replaced with the unlimited social apps.... For the weekend, now can combine into all day usage. Guess no one care for the allocation anymore. Cheapest postpaid from celcom is first blue rm45... but no upgrade for the plan... that one needs to add rm10 monthly, if like that might as well add rm8 to go to first gold plus got 40gb. cheapest plan rm45 but 2gb+ 2gb is a but little, really for light user only. plus only 50 mins free call and sms. chance to exceed free call is high unless u really do not call. And it can only carry forward max 1gb. This is even worse the first basic 38. more expensive than or some more. Last time my main is using first basic 38, but too easy to exceed the free 50 mins calls. So I end up switch to first gold 80 1.0 with unlimited smses and calls.
