Last month we tried some Hokkaido baked cheese tarts for the very first time. It was a long queue at the kiosk in Mid Valley Megamall. The tarts tasted very good when they are warm as the cheese just melts in the mouth with nice aroma. So good that my daughter lined up for the 2nd time and packed 5 boxes home. There was this Singaporean who was also in the queue and she mentioned that she was buying the tarts for the 2nd time as she found the tarts to be delicious when she tried the day before. In Singapore the cheese tarts are more expensive.

Are there other good food other than these cheese tarts?

ive tried both Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart & Tokyo Secret.
IMO, Tokyo Secret far more gooding but pricier as well (Hokkaido RM5.80/piece & Tokyo Secret RM7.50/piece if not mistaken).

Hokkaido is from Secret Recipe while Tokyo Secret is franchise from HK.

Recommend TS to try Tokyo Secret, can find at Sunway Pyramid / One Utama / Ikano

+1

I'm not that fancy with the so called 'melted cheese' in it. Even though I'm a cheese lover.
Still feel lack of 'ummph'.

Cheese tart sell in Wmart more delicous...!

Lots of this cheese tart around lately. Aeon is marketing its own, and other bakery shop also sell their own variant. Anyone tried the King's Confectionery one? How does it compare?

Just because the name has "hokkaido" so they can sell at expensive price. Just like italian pasta and so on. The real cost isn't that much

frankly speaking, they are just over-rated tarts at the same time overpriced.

i find nothing fantastic at all, rather choose wmart blueberry cheese tarts instead with real fruits inside.

Are the blueberry cheese tarts readily available at all times for customers to purchase, say at 6.00pm, one hour before Wmart closes? Will make a trip to test these tarts very soon.

Thanks. Yes, have read about Tokyo Secret. Will keep this in mind although I usually don't go to One Utama/Ikano or Sunway Pyramid. At RM7.50 per piece is certainly premium.

The cheese tart is seriously good. I've tried Hokkaido cheese tart and Uncle Tetsu. I felt Hokkaido is better cause it's more chessy and fluid. Uncle Tetsu is more solid feel. Haven't try Tokyo cheese tart yet but they are opening a new shop in Queensbaymall, Penang soon! biggrin.gif

However, it really burns a hole in my wallet...5.80 per biji man...can eat nasi campur adi.
