Oh my goodness, confirm its 10.00 PM ONLY latest for GIA transactions. Previously saw someone mention 10.30. Was testing my luck (delaying due to stuff) and do it slightly past 10pm just now - already tutup. Hmmph..

Ya I did comment doubt abt 10.30 coz I remember is 10.. Then again I didn't went to double check. So just tried to push my luck.

They should get this time limit off. I don't see reason why must offline 10-6.
At most they off at 12 midnight along with their daily housekeeping then okay enough.
Other banks eFD can operate almost 24 hours too.
This Maybank is really like using some old system, same thing like Public Bank.
Even the ASB topup online also cannot show the status whether success or not, while other bank can easily do that.

So after 1st August, if withdraw before maturity = no interest?
Meaning it works like conventional Maybank FD/EFD?

So what's the next best thing for short term high liquidity FD-like after GIA stop premature interest distribution?

Currently convention eFD still have different tiers? Like only 5k can put for 1 month?

And eGIA now is 1.0 interest while conventional is1.5 for 1 month?
