I just cannot came to a sane mind to like any watch by Seven Friday.

They are just too "fashion" for me. Heck even a cheap Seiko SKX feels more special then those.

But those are just my opinion and 0.02. At the end of the day, it is whatever rocks your boat that make you feel good. And wear it in great heath.

the hype for 7 friday still there ? I thought no longer there

anyway, the price been increasing a lot. with price near to 5k, there are so many options with better movement.

same like metaled, just my 2cent. The design is fine just a bit too big for me

Didnt knew it had a hype. Yea the newer watches are expensive, there are some brands some other people prefer.
For me it was the uniqueness that Seven Friday has on the time reading

It was but slowly goes down due to too many fake in the market

i bought 1 before GST P2/2
love it very much, but i change my strap to stainless steel ady. i sweat a lot and the leather strap, smell.

but now too many fake, i also scare people see mine as fake after i change to ss.
wanted to get the v series, but the fake stop me from getting. lol

I had a P3 at home hahaha, and yeah I bought it before GST too.
Oh the V series are really easy to distinguish between authentic and fake just by looking at the color and dia. For eg, I'm using a V3/01, just look at the color, the authentic ones have Gun Metal Color but the replica ones are matte black. Why do I say so? I have a friend who claims he was using a authentic one, and yeah you guessed it hes using V3 too. I was curious because the color looked different, so I asked him to show me the authenticity using the app but he refused.

Now only know they come out with Q series. Look alike

Not only +4 and +8, it has a + 0.
If you noticed theres a 0,1,2,3 and 4 in the top middle until the right, what you do is add the +4/+8/+0 with the 0,1,2,3 or 4.
For example, if its 6pm now, the +4 will be showing at the 2. So 4+2 = 6, you probably know the time just by looking outside and in case if you dont really know, theres a day/night indicator on the left side of the watch, just beside the 0. Dark blue for day, black indicates night time

The V series came out before Q series, the only difference is the design inside.

mine dont have NFC as i bought last year. emo. look more fake now.

My P series also doesnt come with NFC, bought late 2014.
Dont worry, P series also have ways to identify replica and authentic

thats so bad. btw i just download the app and my iphones6s cant use NFC lol.

Too bad its only Android compatible. Chill later I tell u how to differentiate the authentic ones and replica ones on P series

Okay these are how to identify the authentic or replica for the P series from what I know.

1. Font is bolder on the authentic ones, if it's only slightly bolder, it's replica already.
2. Engravings on the authentic ones are always deep and sharp.
3. Tilt the watch, and if you see the glass reflecting a glowing blue, yes its a replica. Otherwise, if its transparent then its authentic.
4. The glass on the replica is higher compared to the authentic.
5. Details on the dial will look sharper if its authentic.

all 7friday watches strap is leather?

Yes it comes with leather, however you can purchase other straps. One of my friend is using rubber strap.

The rubber strap is original from 7friday as well?

Yes, you can get them at any official Seven Friday reseller, depends on stock availability though.

can the NFC chips be replicated?

Not at the moment, I've heard replica's that comes with NFC. But the NFC is a totally different one, and it requires another app to scan it, where the original Seven Friday app doesnt detect it.
