Its me again. Need advice.

(1) D200 Body only.
(2) 30D with kit lens (18~55) and with 1 GB CF card (cheap one, 50x Speed).

D200 price is 75 USD higher ... (about 260 RM). Which one shall I choose?

RM1050 difference ,if u have no budget problem and know how to use DSLR,D200 is a good choice.

I am abit addicted to Nikon. But still not decided yet. I'll come and let you know when I made final decision.

Those who 'listen to their own hearts' always end up getting either a Canon or Nikon

i thought those are the ppl who always end up getting weird camera like Pentax, Minolta, Sony, cause they want to be different, and that's wat in their 'own heart'

lol .. D70s if budget limited lah , since *daniel* have budget for D200 ,i really dnt understand why wnt D70s which more low end compare with D200 ,
except wanna save money for lens lah .. but I still think D80 with grip is nicer lah , no offense .

Sooner or later he will move out from that auto mode.... if using D2X and using auto mode also ok what????

Heard of those as well ... and many of those are ones that will come back cursing and ranting that maintenance is expensive, warranty claims and camera repair take ages to get done, expensive accessories, spare parts, etc.

yeah no offence taken im just saying any camera can produce good pics, its all about the photographer

D80's not bad, i'd go for it for the bat grip

their lens 16-50 F2.8ED [IF] and 50-135 F2.8ED [IF] and 60-250 F4ED [IF] is interesting

but for consumer lens like DA 17-70mm and DA 70-300mm seems like still an unknown status.

If the D200 price differs only by RM300 when compared to the 30D, GET THE D200. =) It's a more rugged camera and a class higher than the 30D.

I bet those that're still considering between the 2 models prefer to wait it out if they have the money becoz BOTH models are already out for some time : D200's replacement is long overdue and Nikon can jump on its customers like they did to D40 users whereas Canon is kicking butt in the professional model section ... I predict Nikon will make its move 1st.

I suggest you wait for 7D's replacement coz as soon as you grab Sony @150, Sony might jump on you with a SLIGHTLY improved @200 months later, haha!!

You know why I say so? Coz the name "Alpha 200" is nice
