Hi all,

i have applied twice for the Petronas ikhwan Visa. first in June 2016 and recently in April 2017. both applications were rejected.

i even wrote an email to maybank to request a portion split credit limit from my maybank conventional cards to Islamic cards as per below and also was rejected.

would appreciate some advise on how to proceed for the application.

thanks

i guess it's harder now to get all the cash back credit cards from Maybank.

both my MBB Amex and FCB VS max RM50 cash back every month.

such a bummer since Citibank CB revised its CB tier for petrol (which i had cancelled it), leaves me to pump petrol using FCB or Amex only.

Have you tried going to Maybankard Centre (KLCC/1U/Midvalley)? Since you went Wisma genting one I believe KLCC should be convenient.

The last round I applied for Ikhwan card the PIC there straightaway recommend me to split the CL to get the approval and I got it within 1/2 hours (weekday)

Suggest you retrieve a copy of your credit report and take a look if there is any spots on them.

Sometimes it is as simple as missing annual fee from a particular bank and they mark that as non payment which screwed your record. My friend had to raise a huge complain to get it resolved which impacts his housing loan app.

Alternatively, reduce your overall cc limit with other banks for at least 3 months first as record is updated quarterly by international banks.

my latest ccris report.

maybe i could opt for reducing credit limits.
