Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Amex is miles better. While it is true that many places don't accept Amex, but the big online platform like Lazada or Shopee do, where you can get most of your stuffs from.

ask yourself THESE questions:

1) WHY did you choose these cards?

2) have you ever thought of WHERE to use these cards?

3) also, WHAT benefits are you looking at?


eg Ikhwan Amex is ONLINE only. popular marketplace like shopee and lazada accept amex easily. OR you dont like to spend online at all and prefer visit stores?

Ikhwan Mastercard is good for PETROL (any brands) and GROCERY on Fridays & Saturdays only. Good for you? Or you no time to do shopping on Fridays. Saturdays busy with other matters?


as you see, we dont know WHO you are, HOW you spend, right? biggrin.gif

You can have both Mastercard-I (5% Groceries and Petrol, Friday-Saturday only) and Amex-I (8% online). Shared credit limit.

For Maybank Amex Ikhwan, Syawal n Ramadan, capped at RM100

So, is it starting this month, until May (Syawal ends) ?

don't work like that. it refers to 1 Ramadan month + 1 Syawal month only.

Just want to confirm regarding Spaylater:
If due date is 1-Apr-2024, then last day to pay is 1-Apr-2024, like credit card, without incurring late charges?
Cos want to use MBB Ikhwan-Amex for April's cb.
But even if I pay today 31-Mar but posted 1-Apr-2024 will still be considered for April'c cb right?
