The only drawback is not many online sites accept AmEx. I mean the usual ones which we use. I know Lazada, Foodpanda, Grab, Fave etc. Anything else?
Good thing is my bills which I'm using M2AmEx now can be shifted to this card.

I think Maybank doesn't give cashback for insurance, not too sure. However, I'm using GE and it doesn't support AmEx.

For Maybank M2 Amex, yes 5% weekend CB for Etiqa Takaful (travel insurance, car insurance, motortakaful.com). Other insurers don't accept Amex at their own platform.

For Majlis perbandaran does this islamic amex give 8% cashback for online payment?

There's nothing mentioned but I am not so sure as those patmentnis usually under govt.

6-7 years ago, I took out the 2k limit from my conventional cards to Ikhwan MC when they rejected my application. Only after I did it they approved my application.

However, I'm not sure when they changed my limit to 26k without my request... This limit is also showing on my CCRIS.. Can they do this? laugh.gif
