until Yamaha acknowledge the piston ring issue on the fz150i and the bering issue on the y15r, which both involve the most important part of a vehicle: THE ENGINE,

and until HLYM have the BALLS to acknowledge and do a fuking recall for replacement instead of caving them self and stay silent and let the buyer suffer EVEN after multiple complain and direct complain to the wakil yamaha , i will say NO to any future bike from Hong Leong Yamaha ....

and to think this is from a long time yamaha supporter , this really sad me to say such thing...

Nvx now par with vespa in terms of quality..
Back then, vespa built like a tank..
Price wise now, vespa much more exp than nvx if compare 150cc
I always a Honda fag...for bike only
*
then how you so sure the quality on par with vespa lol blush.gif

on paper, NVX is very impressive i'll give you that , personally i love every bit of it, excluding the 5+ liter fuel tank which for me is too small....
but if you go through the recent yamaha bike in msia , some thing is very wrong especially on the QC side....

as owner of two fz150i, nowadays i dun even dare to recommend other to go and get a fz150 due to this piston ring issue (and unfortunately my newer fz have this issue)...

I own a fz year 2014. The EO tend to disappear without trace. But if you change the EO with 1.5k KM interval there should be no problem
*
i use to change every 2000km, but the issue getting worse. and no, motor bike need to change engine oil every 1000km to maintain IS NOT NORMAL AT ALL.

for my bike , it get so bad that weekly checking show that every 500km or less i need to top up ady cuz the EO is not even showing at the dip stick ....

imagine this issue from a brand new motor, this frustrated me a lot....

and what piss me the most is the attitude from yamaha.

i meet up with the wakil yamaha during a survey for all new fz purchase, for some reason the shop i buy that bike selected me.
when feedback my bike issue (my bike even have bad paint quality on the fuel tank, and some part at the fork even start to karat ady), even by terang2 show my proof to the wakil , they still claim that their bike no issue , best seller yada yada....

one of my friend that get the same fz2014, same issue, he even masuk kilang claim warranty, come out kilang , same issue not fix....

one of the co-worker get the new batch fz with gold cover engine, same issue + fork seal pecah at mileage 3000km +

for me , yamaha bike quality is now equivalent to long kang quality ady, and again , this really sadden me to say this cuz i not sure what bike to buy ady at that price.

I owned a vespa before, 2 yamaha, 4 honda..

At current my 250 sym..

So I know pretty much.

Later vespa version tho..
*
well i dont own that much bike , but i am a owner for two fz150i : the 1st is the lampu bulat 1st version, and the later fz150i 2014ver.

and i can assure you the quality drop is huge between this two.

in term of scooter quality. yamaha much better than any other brand scooter. realiable as long u service on time
*
and maybe their QC focus on bigger yamaha bike, but ignore OC for the "mass produce" bike such as fz150i/y15r, maybe...

hmm.gif heard that gold engine batch is ok. I dont check EO that often now, 1.5k KM, straight change. I use cheap EO only. Clocked to almost 30000KM now. No major issue beside the EO hilang
*
at 1st i also though that is the case, but my co-worker prove me wrong.

imagine the heart break when you check and notice your brand new bike have the piston ring/engine oil hilang issue, and for his case , PLUS fork seal pecah, for a brand new bike !

and unfortunately both of above what i mention happen to his fz, which is a huge bummer which nothing can be done other than send warranty or send shop to fix.

really, HLYM, really ? this is the exact reason why many go for bajaj modenas ,and the exact reason why the OTR price for fz150 was EVEN drop a bit compare to where previous, fz price is dame keras, even for a used one.

I owned Lagenda, Nouvo S, Nouvo LC, before using FZ now. I would say all bikes gives u a headache. I'm happier with FZ than Nouvo.
*
fz more jimat in terms of maintain and better FC huh ?

QUOTE(kokokranc @ Jul 12 2017, 03:14 PM)
i own first gen LC and never gave me headache lol. push start then jalan. only change oil regularly and fix brake pump once. 10 years of problem free!
*
honestly that is what i experience when using the 1st ver fz, no any issue except usual wear and tear. never heard of engine issue until the fz 2014.

im so confident with yamaha where im the 1st to rush out and pre-order the new fz when it launch. getting the new one is like a kid on Christmas morning , very very exited .....

yet, this is what i get, this kind of QC .... f...

now my confident with yamaha is all time low. maybe they improved with this new scooter , maybe they have better QC, i dont know. but man this hurts.
