just brought two redmi4a, jump from honor, haha...

got a serious problem need to solve, the default firmware v8.1.4 for my malaysia sets, does not support exFat file format for memory card, is there a fix for this? patch or firmware version which support it?

ahh i used that last time on xperia but it need root access right? i dont think i wanna root my devices yet,

so sad cant find solution for exFat native rom support on the redmi4a , man this day of age. still stuck on fat32 thats is really sad... now regret buying this... cant used third party app like Paragon too as it page said does not support android 5 and above.

oh yeah hor damn, any way to mod the camera, the video frame rate really sucks... inconsistent 30fps.. my older honor 3c records better video than this fella

guys mind sharing what is the best method to back up files from the internal memory? i like to do regular back up after my last phone died on me, cant boot up to backup memory, my redmi4a using usb cable seems extremely slow when plug in as file transfer mode, esp transfer large number of files like whatsapp folder...

any times so far i been back all files to memory card then use card reader to backup, but kindda hectic each time..

anyone tried the latest rom? i scare to update as most china phones update fix some breaks some... if anyone updated can u tell me does it support exFat file system on redmi 4a or still same fat32 only?

both option is out of the question i have more than 50gb of photos and videos, and my internet, SHITMYX upload is slow like snails.... totally unusable...

yesterday i pull the sandisk ultra class 10 sd card out and copy via card reader and halfway there the thing pop error and disconnected my card totally corrupted, have to recover with apps and even so 1 month plus of photos and videos gone, so damn sad...
tried multiple apps to recovers all fail...

my advice to all when u back up stuff try small portion copy paste at a time don't copy all and paste, this really screw me up...

wish there is an auto app to sync backup to my pc each day/month/week when i plug in usb cable

gaming using wireless suck... the ping not stable with the packet lost... not ideal..my 8mbps shitmy still good enough for gaming.... i got other 4g coverage here just that limited quota cant really use for large data download or upload..

oh my shitmyx 8mbps no dc lah.. just upload slow, gaming usually i get good ping.. my current ip is connected for 21 days ... still stable.. what i hate is upload really slow only..

my area is full 4g its fast but not usable with the quota .. heavy upload or download one week gone d... haiz.. so its kindda useless except for phone.. just wish got unifi or time fiber here

latest official global rom installed on redmi4a seems shorter standby battery life. anyone experience it...? i have 3 unit all the same..

Unfortunately with same app running, same permission, same battery saver mode running ,latest global rom V8.5.2.0.MCCCNED shorten by battery life 20% of redmi 4a compare to first stock global rom vV8.1.4.0.MCCMIDI

Battery life is extremely short compare to stock global rom, idle time with battery saver used to drain only 10 to 12% for a period of 9 hours when i sleep,running battery saver, now it takes 22% !

how about u guys?
