I'm using the latest developer rom before this that why need to unlock bootloader and stuff... If u using lower version rom directly flash through updater seems possible

Just got my Redmi 4 Prime last night from SatuGadget (RM659) after finding out that the Global rom was out.

Build: Very premium feel. Brushed aluminium.

Performance: Buttery smooth.

Camera: Not bad, for the price

Disadvantages:

1. Screen has a tiny bit of a concave. So screen protector looks a bit weird. Not really obvious though.

2. The SD card slot shares the same spot as SIM 2. I didn't know this. Having SD card is not really a deal breaker, since it there is 32 gb internal storage. But, yeah, heads up to all potential buyers.

Before you flash through the updater,what is the version of your vendor rom?this is mine:

Android version: 6.0.1 MMB29M
MIUI version: MIUI Global 8.0 Stable 8.0.5.00(MBECNDG)

i bought from gtronic got vendor rom flash it tru fastboot very easy method yet kinda fuss
