Just bought a 31.5 inch AOC Free-Sync monitor for my Malaysian PC setup.

Will probably try AMD's next generation to utilise the Free-Sync.

isnt it 1080p for 31.5"?  sweat.gif
*
My mistake, it is 1080p.

I am anyways gaming on a 47inch 1080p tv over here. Would be interested to try out curved monitor on a budget.

Wah.. 1080P for 32"? Almost like TV leh..how you used/the setup for the monitor?
I mean.. do you use it for browsing..etc?
*
My mistake, it is 1080p.

I will be using this monitor for everything.

As I mentioned, I have been using a 47inch TV as monitor for more than 4 years. I am able to game and work on it as well.

Specifications seems better than a Titan Pascal.

More competition is always good for the consumer.

Yeah, that was the size of my first TV in here, 32 inch.

Wanted to try curve and see how it feels for gaming.

Hope I get it before I return to Malaysia for Christmas.

Ah ok. Dem if only there's like an LG store over here or something.
Such a good price, if only it has a 1080 one. Even at that I think my RX480 is gonna sweat a lot.
*
LG has a 32 inch Ultrawide at 2560x1080 monitor.

Not sure whether there is free sync or not.

LG 29UM68? tongue.gif Only 40hz-75hz though so no LFC. Only RM1,165 from GTech(Hikari85), not sure if promo price still on.

It's IPS so that's plus but not sure how bad the ghosting is if any.
From AMD website LG's Freesync monitor only 29" and 34". Not sure if there is a newer model not in the list.
No problem if no overclock? hmm.gif
I think it's only for livestream. hmm.gif

I was referring to this LG 34UM58 which has a resolution of 2560x1080 but unfortunately no Free Sync.

LG 34UM58-P from Lazada

Oh man, i guess it will perform between 1080 and upcoming 1080 Ti?
*
I certainly hope so.

There should be more competition in the GPU market. Intense competition will force the existing players to innovate.

Finally, some competition at the high end market.

Can't have one Company dominating that segment.

With ryzen coming soon intel also cant dominate anymore hopefully , AMD and Radeon working realy hard to turn around. Intel and Nvidia cant slack anymore

Really hoping for that Ryzen will give them intense competition.

Then we can expect more improvements from all players.

I wonder if it is a coincidence that Nvidia's next GPU starts with the letter V (ie. Volta).

your main rig? gonna change your 1080 so soon?  drool.gif
*
No, main rig uses a 47inch LED TV which has only 1080p.

Will change that to 4k next year.

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Dec 25 2016, 12:00 PM)
Nice, any complain? You have both G-Sync and Freesync monitor right?
*
Only free sync, my other PC is using TV.

Unless there is a 50 inch free sync / g sync monitor, I probably will just get a regular 4k TV next year.

So far, the monitor is pretty good. I am just not used to the curved.

It is VA panel, so the colour isn't the best but it is enough for me.
