QUOTE(nrw @ Sep 7 2019, 03:46 PM) he took price into consideration i think. i see. so seems like performance wise red devil and strix are on par. actually design wise i prefer powercolor, but some says powercolor use cheaper / low quality components. issit true?performance wise (taking temp/noise into consideration but ignoring the price tag) its probably: red devil/strix > windforce/pulse > thiccII |

QUOTE(nrw @ Sep 7 2019, 04:32 PM) does it (red devil) look less flashy? probably so. Thx!but why bother. I have not seen their x5700 but from the review I have seen (computerbase.de) build quality is absolutely fine. let me paste the link, photos and tables should be self explaining. should you feel the need to read the text use auto translation https://www.computerbase.de/2019-08/powerco...aerke__kuehlung |

QUOTE(Fatimus @ Sep 8 2019, 05:54 PM) Price different between XFX THICC 2 and Powercolor Red Devil isn't much. However I like how clean the XFX's look. yesterday i went to LYP to see all the cards (managed to see xfx thicc 2, red devil, strix, pulse and gigabyte). end up i went purchase the strix. it looks the most solid and balance of the all. thicc 2 is just too bulky and no curve that is not really to my taste. powercolor cooling looks a bit too plasticky (well all are plastic though, it just that the plastic maybe less premium?)And also dat name too bad on the way down i bought sthing else that is super tempting and super expensive |

eh this is radeon thread or amd cpu vs intel thread?
btw, i know from enthusiast pov, AMD seems like a definite choice but not necessarily true when it comes to average joe and corporations. these 2 type of customers still prefer intel for it's brand and reputation and mind you we enthusiast is just a small portion of the marketshare. QUOTE(khelben @ Dec 5 2020, 11:31 PM) I'm still waiting for the vanilla 6800's price. The one I see around over here in Malaysia are the OC versions. I think is quite hard to get vanilla 6800 price. even AIB like biostar that has the closest to reference card albeit its controversial limited voltage is priced at RM3k - RM3.3k. |

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Jan 3 2021, 06:05 PM) Hi, I just bought the Sapphire Nitro+ 6800XT recently. It’s a sign to sell your card and buy 6900xt instead 😎But to sync it to my MSI Aurasync, I’d need to buy an additional 5V ARGB female to female cable separately (which is damn annoying). But I only have 2 slots of 5V ARGB headers on my motherboard & they’re both occupied. The question is, as my motherboard has a Corsair 5V RGB header available, can I buy a Corsair female to ARGB female, & connect it to my motherboard & 6800XT respectively? |
