Add a few more and you got yourself a 1080ti. Those prices are too much for something inferior to Nvidia's 1080ti. It all goes down to price to performance.

QUOTE(k!nex @ Sep 4 2017, 07:17 PM) I just came back from lyp. Viewnet got 2 units of Sapphire RX Vega 56. I asked price. RM2799 I went the shop next door jayacom. Zotac GTX1080 AMP Extreme is only RM2900 and is much more powerful than RX Vega 56... AMD pricing this time phailed big time. Lol ridiculous! Price to performance is what matters at the end of the day and AMD is still catching up with Nvidia.

Thermal Performance and Power draw. These 2 are always off target for AMD. 2080 is at 225 watts while Radeon VII is at 350 with "almost" the same performance. Talk about 80+ degrees on load lol danggg

Hardware Unboxed used an R9 290 cooler on the 5700xt and it worked like a charm. Can't wait for the aftermarket coolers Finally my 4790k and 1080 can retire. Funny cause I don't game that much either lol
