Hi, want to ask is there any solution for PC-to-PC game stream for AMD R9 280X? Eg: stream from my bedroom gaming pc to living room weak PC. I looked around and I can only find solution for Steam specific games, as well as NVidia solutions.

I tried Splashtop, really really bad. Any other possible recommendation?

Can't you add games to Steam and use it streaming feature? hmm.gif
*
laugh.gif LOL that actually worked. Just for the lulz I tried to stream other softwares and they also worked...
Just no desktop access isn't gonna make them very good for productivity.
While there are workaround to force stream whole desktop, I find it really choppy and often crash, not sure if just wireless unstable or Steam know what trick I playing... laugh.gif

Wow the [Connect] feature in the latest driver is so cool~
It just works! Without the needs of installing 3rd party tools, copying stream key and what not that I still failed to configure and never works.
Now, CTRL+SHIFT+G and BOOM! I'm live!

Tried to stream 720p 30fps to FB with Digi Infinite150 (roughly 5mbps up) just now, it just works!
No system lag, no latency issue felt when playing game / multitasking.

This is complete god-send for newbie like me~ drool.gif

Argh..... damn drivers.

Installed latest version... seems to got some frame lost.
So I clean it up with DDU and install older ver... and ReLive didn't been installed.
Clean up with DDU again. Install latest again. ReLive still missing.
Clean up with AMD own cleanup utility, install latest again in manual mode and ReLive installation option poped up. But at the end still not installed. WTF?

I am looking for GPU upgrade in the coming months, I checked the passmark benchmark list and notived Vega56 sit side by side iwth GTX1070.
But when I look at the prices... shakehead.gif GTX1070 starts to have offer around RM1700 while Vega56 still stucks at least RM2500++ or even 3K+
I really wish to stay with AMD since I'm familiar with the driver and stuff, but the price point is one big headache.

Is there way to make ReLive capture current resolution screen rather than forcing full 1920x1080? I'm running custom 1920x800 for some specific reasons, it always add black bar to fill up to 1080 =(

I downclock my GPU, if I just play game, the speed is correct.
But if I play youtube video at the background, the speed ramp up back to default.
Why? >,>

Hmmmmmm... The profile system seems to be kinda wonky sad.gif
I removed MSI Afterburner that is known to clash with the driver custom settings.
The profiles I created worked for a while... and now it refuse to work again, even if I launch the game through the driver.
(my global setting is 500mh/500mh)

Is the latest driver version, installed a couple days ago as the ReLive Tab was missing.
Now... it missing again! bangwall.gif

GPU: 280X

Why you set 500/500 for global? hmm.gif
Did you reboot your PC on regular basis or you simply shut it down?

Hmm.. i wonder which card will support this.
*
the card is obviously old, and it can't operate at factory clock (1150/1600) anymore, otherwise visual artifacts appear.
since browser and various softwares also utilize GPU, i kept it really low so it don't overwork when it's not necessary.
for gaming I kept it under 1100/1400, usually 950/1400. 950 is actual default 280x clock anyway.
I shutdown pc everyday.

//--

I hope the voltage control available for old cards as well.
I don't want to use MSI afterburner as it do cause other problems.
Can easily undervolt from 1.2v to 1.1v to decrease temperature dramatically on my card... The factory voltage is absurd...

You can edit the BIOS and lower the clock speed. Is it ASUS 280x?
What kind of problem you get using MSI AB?
I hope you disable Window 10 Fast Startup because that thing bring more problem than benefit.
Try reboot your PC everyday if you enabled Fast Startup.
*
It's Sapphire Tri-X? Edit BIOS?

MSI afterburner is known to mess with AMD Driver's settings and profiles, restart PC and the AMD driver's global profile got reset to default again, that's one problem.
Path of Exile also have issue with it's overlay function (or any sort of overlay tool) and cause crashes, not exactly Afterburner's fault in this case, but it's additional tool Rivatuner.
Adjusting OC with Afterburner sometime also causing somesort of driver conflict > system crash when playing game and playing video at the same time. Basically not that great for multitasking.
I just uninstall it to reduce the headache.

Don't think I using Fast Startup. Think I shut it down before, now I don't see it in the power option page where it suppose to be anymore.

Hmm, I don't have any overlay issue with POE.  hmm.gif
*
There are two kinds of overlay:
- one that is basically another window on top of the game, this won't cause issue to PoE
- one that is inject into the game's visual output, this one causing problem with the game sweat.gif

I wiped and reinstall the driver again, hopefully the goat-damn ReLive don't go missing again doh.gif

Nah, even in 2018 there are games that rape that single core.

Why i can't compare price like that?  laugh.gif  I thought buying GPU is mostly about performance/price within your budget unless you're bangsawan.
I'm currently using Reshade + MSI Afterburner for PoE, both use inject method iinm.
*
enable layer.fx and see what happens laugh.gif
other effects are fine, it's overlaying something through injection is the problem.
but then again it might be just isolated cases that only certain people have problem with.

I wonder why latest driver I lost the ability to add VSR custom resolution?
Card: 280X, VSR 2560x1440 on a 1080p screen.
Used to be able to do 2560x1080 ultrawide custom resolution via regedit edit but now it won't show up in my resolution list... hmm...
1920x800 showed up though, which don't need VSR.

Actually dunno if this is Windows issue or Driver issue... hmm.gif
