hi, i wanna ask. i have r9 390. so far so good. i never update the amd driver since i bought the entire new pc together with the gpu. i heard that if i update the driver, it will not perform as good as the old driver for the same game. meaning that if i update the driver, the gpu may not churn out fps as high as previous driver. is it true?
for dirt 3 your current gpu can surely max out all details and still hit the magical 60fps mark
no no, i mean for instance. lets say gta V or other games which is over a year old. then will the previous driver be more compatible since current driver works best for current games only?
Not really, if i can buy an R9-Fury for under RM1.5k 6 months ago i probably grab that instead.
when i watch videos on youtube using chrome, sometimes i get blue screen. however, i never have blue screen when i play games. i checked using 3rd party software and it says is my amd problem. i reinserted the gc again, and still got blue screen. so, is it my driver problem instead of my card?
