green camp already slashing their price to near MSRP
how about camp red? I haven't seen any new pricelist yet hmm.gif
*
I do see 6600 under 2k, 6600xt at around 2.2k, 6700 xt at 3k. Still expensive, yea, but.. getting there? Now it makes me think either wait it drop a bit more near msrp.. or just wait out RDNA3? Tis waiting game will never end urgh.

A 6600 is faster than 3050 yea? And I see 3050 at 1.7k or something. But yea, probably wait a bit more?

I am also looking for something entry lvl for my son, debating a few options currently

Yes saw this on Shopee too, plus with 10% cashback, too. Not.. too bad? Will put this in my shortlist

Edit : check again just now, already sold out sweat.gif in general, radeon cards are not getting price cuts compared to nvidia here, atm

ooh... Powercolor 6900XT @ RM5799 now, finger kinda itchy wanna pull the trigger already tongue.gif

With 3080 / 3080TI selling at 4k++, this is rather silly, isn't? And see how big the price gap is still here, from 6600xt - 6700xt.. not really worth it getting any team red cards atm, imo

If its Asrock Phantom gaming vs Sapphire Nitro, sure, that's worth considering. But why not wait till the refresh launches sometime in the next 2 weeks?

Saw Sapphire, Gigabyte RX 6000 refresh already in market. Somewhat.. priced the same as previously. Which is of course, higher than MSRP. I guess not waiting for the refresh was the right move, luckily..

Is this a steal or normal price for 6800XT?
*
I guess its pretty close to MSRP, considering it's Sapphire Nitro? Plus you can get like 15,000 coins out of it, assuming you have a voucher, too. That's like, RM150 worth? It is quite tempting to me..

Will drop further , when release Rtx 40 series and Rx 7000 series
If you concern about resell value , keep and wait for new gpu then decide again
*
Yea, but the 7000 series will probably only reach here early next year? If can wait, sure

But yea, thats the thing. 7000 series are coming and only now, the 6000 series comes close to MSRP. I remember when the 6000 series was close to launch I found a very good deal on the 5700XT Nitro+. But decided to wait for the RDNA2 and we all know what happens in 2020+..

Finally starting to see them 6000 series at local stores at MSRP, or lower in rare occasions. Not sure if.. should go for it, or wait.

Edit : Just got Pulse 6750XT for 1.9k at Yes IT! Now I can sit back and relax for couple years. I hope.

Hmm the warranty would be a pain though.. but nice grab for someone that don't mind that. Heck, that's tempting for me, even.

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Aug 30 2022, 09:29 PM)
Really? I can't find 6750XT anywhere near that price on Shopee/Lazada.
*
Yes, I actually just planned to get one of them 6700XT when they drop under 2k - one morning, I just leisurely scroll thru Lazada, found this, terus check out, lol. Was tempted also to add $200 and get the Nitro, but I suppose this will do just fine. While I do not game much these days (3 kids lol), running GR Breakpoint at 1440P, I get around 100++FPS, at 70C temps, 80C if 60% fan. I do need to tweak them fan curve a bit though.. and seems can't undervolt below 1160mv, or it'll turn unstable. Running in the Nr200P, so I assume it'll be a cool and quiet card if I put it in my ol P360A. But I'm not going back to tower builds, I suppose, now.

This kinda makes up for the painful last 3 years, lol. I have no idea if they mispriced or anything, but seems like the Nitro is still there, around 2.1k+-

RX 6800 16gb where to find ?

Haha actually, if I haven't gotten my Pulse 6750XT, I might just get this. I did, after all, target the 6800 to replace my RX470, 3 years back. Before all the covid crypto thing happened..

Which platform you saw the price? Can't see much seller for 6750 / 6700
*
I have the Pulse 6750XT, other than the rather aggresive fan profile that you need to lower it down, it's.. OK, I guess? Got me 90++ fps for GR:Breakpoint and Gotham Knights at 1440P, and around 70+ in Darktide, although that game needs a Radeon patch, quite unoptimized.

Thanks for sharing.. How is your case setup and temperature with lower fan.. Maybe the design of 2 fan cause the aggression
*
Ah, I'm using it in NR200P, with 2 Artic fans below it. Capping the fan speed at 2000rpm or so, max I get in demanding games (so far for me its Darktide) is around 60++C, around 80+ hotspot or so.

Been thinking of mounting it vertically, but that mean I would have to use low profile cooler for cpu, or some bottom rad aio..

I did some slight uv, though

Stress test how much temp? 80+ hotspot meaning sometimes yours hit over 80+?
Mounting vertically need the bracket rite? And if your fan below for intake then the wind direction might be some mess? As the GPU cover make the wind exit from side of the heatsink rite? How many fan you have for NR200P
*
Stress test with my UV settings, doesn't hit 90C, afaik, but with stock settings iinm it does go up to 95C on hotspot. I do have the bracket, but yea I guess the bracket will .. block airflow perhaps, abit lazy to experiment at this point, since its working just fine. I have 2 Arctic up top as exhaust too, with my cpu cooler also 2 fans, set as intake from rear.

Haven't followed pricing for a while since I got my 6750 XT, now thinking of updating my son's 570 and 590 for cheap, and.. is it me, or local prices for older radeons is back up again? I recall seeing used 6600s under $500 last year or so..

Or its just our shitty currency..?
