Okay I decided to go with Gigabyte G1 RX470 and probably pair it with a decent FreeSync monitor (thinking about LG 24MP68VQ..) sometime later. Have been neglecting my PC since my first son, time to get back in the game, I suppose

Yea, that one, too. Although I'm not saying 'cheaper than RX470', it's just that with a little more I can get the ref RX480 8GB, rather than tricked-out RX470 4GB from other partners. Plus, online vouchers would pop up from time-to-time, like every other sales period. And most of the time I game with a headphone, noise shouldn't be an issue. But the heat, does worry me a bit..

Purchased a XFX RX470, was mulling if I should just add a bit more to get a ref RX480 or even migrate to the green camp, lol, but nostalgia won me back over, and I plan to save the extra for my nephew's GC, too.
