I rant a lot last time in my old blog so I updated specially to keep track what I have and what you gamers have as well... Guess, we are on a long way to a better GPU anyhow. But Geforce hands-down my choice more than Radeon (unless they provide competitive price and speed)...

As former user of R7 260x, it lasted me from 2014 to 2016 end but with sluggish performance as it goes and never can reach High settings... Hope Vega GPU can amaze me this year!

My PowerColor DEVIL R9 390X is getting worse everyday, more artifacts is displaying while playing games & it only has 13 months of warranty left

next time don't get powercolor. grab XFX or sapphire!

ASUS version also much better.

Depend on what games you'll be playing mostly and if the cooling performance is better.

Only applicable to Polaris, previous gen Asus graphic for AMD cards is pretty shitty especially on higher end model.

Small boxes appearing here & there while playing several games & some games even crashes back to desktop
The card is factory overclocked to 1150MHz
Downclocked the card to 1100MHz then everything is smooth again

The water pump on the GPU also sometimes doesn't run when the PC hasn't been turned on for several days, had to knock softly on the back of the GPU then only the pump will work

Want to wait until RX 490 is released because if I RMA now, afraid they will only replace it with RX 480

i don't know y they said ASUS thermal paste was not good & maybe is for polaris but i think pascal also..

What if they still replace you with 480 even after 490 already available?

Mine is r9 290 windforce. Let see if I able to swap for the palit gtx970.
