I don't understand, what was the overhype here? They said 7900XTX will compete with the 4080, and it does. It's faster than the 4080 in raster, slower in RT, yet cheaper. When and where did you see the 7900XTX competing with a xx70 series card from Nvidia?7900XT is a dumb card I agree, it should have just been called a 7800XT and be sold at the RM3.5k price point.
