I survey some of the money changer yesterday. Actually sgwang their selling rates not so nice, if i talking about HKD, HKD100=RM45.3, 45.2.

Then i saw the one that located at jalan alor one, beside KFC, they're selling HKD100=RM45.0, is quite better.

Lastly, i go to midvalley to look for the rates located beside the speedy video at lower ground floor, cool!!, their selling rates is HKD100=RM44.75, i think i found the best rates.

Anyone there still got better rates?

I think KL Central also not bad lei. There are two money changers just opposite to McD. Sometimes their rates is quite cheap geh.

How much you are planning to buy/sell ?
RM100,000 ? whistling.gif
or RM10,000 ? doh.gif
or RM1,000 ? rclxub.gif

Imagine it is RM0.20 difference, e.g. buy HKD100 at RM45 or RM45.20

For RM1,000 you lose out RM9.83

How much is RM9.83 compared to the cost of petrol/parking/time/jam etc to go all the way from Sg. Wang, Mid Valley, KL Sentral, etc. ? hmm.gif Unless you are at that particular location.

Ever thought of it ?

Yes, Wawasan is not bad, so just make sue u compare the rate with another store that next to wawasan called "MV Exchange". both also offer good rate. They have very high daily biz volume. Money in and out....

I totally agree with you. For me, I just go to the nearest money changer in the shopping mall.

The rates will change. One day "money changer A" gives good rate, next month "money changer B" gives better rate. It all depends when and how much the money changer buy the currency also.

If you're exchanging a high amount, then considerable. If just for the sake of rm 20, you're gonna face traffic congestion, toll, petrol, parking fees..

Totally agree.. If you change hundred thousand then may make different.. If not,, not worth at all.. 0.005 seriously no different.. And dont buy too much hoping to sell it back and gain some.. They buy back from you at a lower price.. Unless suddenly our ecomomy become super geng la.. And also some money exchanger have a policy where within certain period of time,, if you change back to our currency, they will buy back with the rate they sold to you so that you dont loss any money..
