We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO - Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:
- 500 XP
- 600 Stardust

Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
- 2,000 XP
- 2,400 Stardust

Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:
- 500 XP
- A number of additional items

Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:
- 2,000 XP
- A greater number of additional items

If you catch a Pokémon at any time on Tuesday local time, you’ll be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time.

Yeay the feature that I love from Real Racing 3 coming to Pokemon Go! Previously this encouraged me to open RR3 everyday.

Don't really care about leveling up now.

My short term goal is to max up that particular Charizard that used to be my starter pokemon.

I'm more curious about the "additional items" part. Free incubators?

looks like incubator reward for 7-day streak

I think additional item means like a super pokestop drop rather than the regular 3 items etc.

Since most folks spend real money on incubator (other than storage), i dun think they will wanna give it away.

yeah i guess so. as you can see in the pictures they gave, the daily spin gave 7? pokeballs.

When will all these bonuses start?

my prediction is probably in next week's update.

Daily bonus started....caught my fist pokemon and spin 1 pokestop got 1k+ exp in total.

The update bring the daily rewards , but I can't spin any pokestop when I'm on lrt. Damn mantic !

I m using Android phone and there is no update on my phones. Still can get daily bonuses and get 2 times.....morning and just now at 2pm.

Just go out spin pokestop....same ler....got bonus 500exp. If really 2 times a day then good lo. I think 2pm is their refresh time.......will try it out tomorrow morning.

First time catch for the day only, but still don know what time they reset for new day coz after 2pm got 2nd time bonus for first catch of the day..

Ya, but it confusing people cause morning 1 time daily bonus and 2pm another time again......will try it out tomorrow morning and see. Maybe got bug or maybe Niantic give 2 times daily bonus a day

they follow US time. their day must have ended in late morning or noon time. hence ur getting twice.

Same on me, this morning after update got 3rd day streak. We'll see this afternoon after 2pm later, counted like yesterday or not..

After 7th day pokestop spin i noticed that pokestop item go back to normal already.....3 items per spin😓

But iv only 42%.. now dilemma whether to power up (it'll reach just 2762CP @lvl30) or another month or so grinding to play the evolve lottery (which i hsvent been having much luck)

you will find that powering up 100IV D9 is really fun to do. i.e. increment of 50 rather than 48/49.

Dratini's really slow for me.

Both catching in the wild dratini and dragon night is equally challeging. for weeks and months I havent really got a decent IV dratini/dragonair. only through hatching 10k egg that I got a really wonder dratini.

I have heard people catching 100IV dratini at DM and setia walk, but its always not me.

Thats the thing.. the only thing left in my stock is a 80% dragonair and a 93% dratini. Both are below level 20.

well christmas is just around the corner. hopefully double candies.

I will pump up my pokebag to 1000 then, if Gen2 knocks early, those handy bag is haven for Gen2 listed mon.

I am still having the haunter and hypno as sacrifice for taking down gym. its fun to watch e.g a 15 CP mon vs a 10CP mon at a gym.

Guys, quick question... if you bag is full and you spin the pokestop, by default you wont get any items right? Do you still gets the daily bonus (of X days streak without the items)?

havent really tried... but normally when my bag is full, I would delete one item....so that when I spin, I would get those items!

Im in a funny situation - because of leveling up, i got tonnes of free items and now the items exceed my quota by approximately 63 items. P.S. Bag fully upgraded.

Hence, im wondering whether you must be able to get items in order to get the daily streak bonus.

1) try and see what happens...no harm la...its not end of life!

2) dont spin till you finish up the item...like go hunt or go to gym so you would be using revive and portions

as a strictly casual player right now I have approximately:
-30 revives
-60 max pots
-100+ greatb
-100+ ultrab
-30 razz
-30 pokeb
-misc: 5+ lucky egg, incense, lures, balls, etc.

after catching or battling, walk around a bit and refill to around this 'ratio'.

Yeah.. I'm prepared to use up all items. Just wondering if the streak bonus gets affected. Lol...I've been taking it slow for past week. Just chilling.

Bag is fully upgraded..

400+ great balls, 400+ ultra balls, 100+ berries, 19 Max revives, 25 Max potions, and the rest are freebies from levelling up - incense, lures, incubators. Diff to throw these items bro. Im just curious whether the streak bonus doesn't apply if you can't get items.

lol 400 great balls. I got no problem throwing away 200 of them

I'd probably only use that lot up in a straight week of pogo-ing...

Less berry more pots I think, I don't see a need for berries mainly but its getting harder to battle...

Yeah.. Kinda agree.. But for past 2 days seem very hard to get revives from stops. Berries will use together with balls to reduce.. Now down to 40+ exceed. Even bellsprout n poliwag get to eat candy. Lol...

Yeah. Either they reduce revive drop (previously memang too many, but not just now when we start needing them ) or we are spoiled after the double drop week

How many D9/Snorlax/Lapras you gonna catch anyway, each 1 makan about 5 berries cukup I think... the drop is not that rare also. Why so kesian until sprouts and wags need to eat candy? if you're gold medal and landing curve+great it should be 1-ball most of the time

Normally I only use normal pokeball. Now since need to reduce the excess items, instead of discarding just feed to the mons loh.. Lol..

BTW, Mon morning + Mon night + Tuesday morning saw n caught 3 snorlax in pj. Kinda lucky I guess.
