hi! I'm new here, I'm really interested to get SR60/80 or SR 125 or alessandro M-1, some one can tell me what the recent price and where can get it? actually i will go to Singapore on 23th, but i saw the price here ar cheaper than Sg a bit. so should i buy at here or Sg?

others like Audio-Technica ATH A-500/ATH-A700,Senheiser HD280pro/HD 215 and AKG K81DJ also looks not bad! I have no idea with these compare with Grado and alessandro ! so please give some comment. thanks!

my budget is around RM500, purpose is for listen music like Indie, Alternative, Electronica, SoftRock, R&B, Pop and watch DVD.

u can buy the alessandro ms1 from me tongue.gif pm me for the bestest price.
since u are heading south, visit the famous jaben network. the shop owner is a very nice man, perhaps he can give u a very special price.

the alessandro is kinda 'for music only' headphone. it suits your music taste pretty well but its not suitable for movie watching cool.gif

M1 is same league with SR125, just the preference of you liking the bright or slightly darker sound.

I guess it all depends on your source. Like my case, i paired my SR80 with the LD2+ because i dislike my EMU's brightness. smile.gif

SR60, the best of all Grados, haha! tidak percaya, google the net biggrin.gif

(if money is concerned..if not better simpan, jump to at least MS2i or 325i, or simpan sum more jump to RS1 or better off, leap to GS1000 and end upgraditis).

It will be wiser if you get MS1, SR60, or SR80 as your first Grado. No point starting off with 125, 225. The SR325i is the best one in their SR-line. Its wiser if your plan is something like:

SR60/80 -> SR325i -> RS1 -> GS1k. Well this is just a reference, those intermediate models should be least considered. smile.gif

yeah! thanks ur remind! I think M-1 or SR60/80 ar best for me!

the M-1 have good enough bass for my music style?like Indie, Alternative, Electronica, SoftRock, R&B, Pop and watch DVD. or SR80 better?

I never listen to Indies, Alternative, Electronica; but i would say the SR80 performs really well on rock and pop songs. I don't use headphones for movies though.

MS-1 is suppose to offer the same performance as the SR125, but i'm unsure how close are they because i never auditioned the MS-1 before. If its within your budget, omit the SR60 as SR80's bass response is stronger.

Visit Jaben as I am sure they have demo units there for you to try out. Then you can have more choices which usually mean burning a bigger hole in your pockets lol. And if you're pairing this with a mp3 player, make sure you bring it. If not, bring along a few of your frequently listened to cds.

If you are going to get the SR80, its advisable to get it from Music by Design as the price is almost the same, but you get local warranty. As for the MS-1, as far as i know there are no distributors in Malaysia.

nah, MbD is the sole distributor for Grado in Malaysia. You don't want to buy from him, where else can you get yours? From S'pore? lolz.
