I switched on my amp yesterday and there's a humming/buzzing sound coming from it... with or without my guitar input , the sound is there... with my guitar connected to it , there's no guitar sound... only the humming sound...
there's a fuse but since it can be switched on , i dont think there's a problem with the fuse... so what could be the problem??

is it earthed properly? i remembered my old practice amp that comes with the plug thats not the regular standard 3 pin we usually have on our normal home appliances. after changing it, buzzing stops.

sometimes it's the current that's in your area...like my small ibanez practice amp...it always have that hum and buzz even if u just leave the guitar there alone...but when i bring it to other place to test, no buzz at all...
