Guys... Last 4 months I sold my Minolta Dimage 7i digital camera to a friend. The camera's in good condition when I sell it to him. Now, the camera's gone kaput. When my friend sends the camera for repair at Sony (services for Minolta cameras has been taken by Sony since the company's no longer in the digital camera business), they charged him RM900...!!! Damn expensive man... I felt sorry for him and felt kinda guilty although the camera was fine when I sold it to him. I'm trying to help him find a good camera shop that can do repairs to digital cameras.

So, anyone of you knows a good place to send my friend's digital camera for repairs...??? Please help...

i think it's like that for all digi-cam, best bet is still sony service center - at least they give 3mths warranty for your repairs and you know la outside repair shop may not do a good job as the camera is a high precision equipment. the 7i is a very good cam though a bit "hot"

i am looking for digital camera repair shop as well. my canon optical unit is gone and it cost 500 to have it replace.
