Wan to clarify on petrol:

Basically there's no specific mentioned which petrol and limit to when to pump to entitle CB right?
Then this lead to next Q: include TnG reload in the petrol station ???

From July onward, can divert RM200 petrol to this card as it enjoy 15% CB
*
rarely can find petrol station accept credit card for TnG topup

I can confirm with you as of now, LFC can entitle for the CB. But I am not sure for the month of July onward as there seem to have a change in TnC which exclude FPX. I can try it and report back but that will be next month.
*
do you know what's FPX? bigpay don't go through internet banking. it uses other payment gateways. so how can be FPX?

You can look for this thread https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3757650, and search for petrol station that accept credit card top up.
*
Haha I know this thread. Very limited. I run the whole penang Island, not even one allow reload with cc. All bhpetrol station show the TnG logo, but when ask about reload TnG, they say cannot reload TnG. Those that can reload, when ask about credit card, also say cannot.

I dont really care BigPay goes through what type of payment, ultimately I just want to know whether I get the CB or not. There is a discussion on this and there are a lot of people saying that BP falls under FPX. Whether they are right or wrong, I also dont know. So the best thing is just to try it out next month.
*
Hahaha. This is crucial

As I know FPX is online banking like what you said too... but let's see next month transactions.  biggrin.gif
*
FPX u need to access your Internet banking. For BP reloads, you don't go through Internet banking. You use third party payment platforms. So nope, not FPX

All your credit card are in debts? Or why you need so much credit card?

Most of us here hold many credit cards. I have 4 banks, MBb 2, SCB 2, PBB 2, affin 1. Semua earn cb. Nothing new.

laugh.gif well, some people have old mentality that holding several credit cards equals to more debt.

Come to think of it I have 8 credit cards now ohmy.gif... PBB x3, MBB x2, SCB x2, AmBank x1. Now looking at the Affin you have... gonna check that out tongue.gif
*
I had 8 till last week ba. Cancelled my citibank credit card after getting and spending the RM500 voucher. Gonna add HSBC again this November for the RM500 voucher. I think is boost.

Ps: my affin bank card is the petrol card. They are having promo till November only. I didn't notice u mention affin. Weekend bhp 10% cb. Till end of November. I notice that 3% cb for pay wave is kinda good. I might get that myself.

wah sst = 375 if non rebateable
*
From his list, I know MBB and SCB no sst rebate. RM100 a year. Never had alliance or ambank so can't comment.

But 375 is little compared to the cb he is collecting every month. I don't have much free time myself to manage so many cards. Abo would have joined.

Only MBB no rebate. SCB gives RM100 for new customer.
*
MBB give free gifts for new users too. What difference leh. One give RM100 cash, one give bags worth Rm200. That is new user, nothing to do with cash rebate for sst. And continuous users for SCB gets no sst rebate

Until u try to get a housing loan which is more than 500k.
*
Aiyor rich ppl can buy above 500k house, won't bother earn Rm200 cash back a mth la. They are so busy outside earning more than 10k. What's 200 to them. These rich ppl usually one credit card settle all. Only poor ppl who cannot afford 500k house must earn 200 a mth.

There's no issue in getting provided your income is sufficient. smile.gif
With my CC (more than 15), I didn't have issue in getting loan for 700k and that was 2 years ago. My income has increased over the years and I think can get loan for 1 mil property now? I'm not sure, I didn't try. It really depends on your commitment too and CC quantity is not an issue.
*
Wow kaya betul. Ppl like us can't afford kaya, can only take planta. I just gotten a 400k loan. Well your standard is kl standard. Please share your kaya and we share planta to u. Quite nice when mixed. Haha

Orang kaya won't need loan for 700k. #justsaying

The more loan you take, the more miskin you are. Just think of the interest that you're paying to the bank.
*
Not true. Orang kaya take loan so they can spin their money other places to generate more income. Ever heard of money makes money. Rich ppl really makes money at a crazy rate, even faster than bank loan interest rates.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 22 2019, 04:33 PM)
Exactly. I'm not a fan of having lots of loans with banks. I think everyone too, who likes? laugh.gif
I didn't take up that loan eventually. Back to the topic for the sake of discussion, CC outstanding amount will determine the eligibility of loan approval but not the number of CC you own. biggrin.gif

Anyway, I will stop the discussion here and let's stick back to the topic. biggrin.gif
*
Ya true. Loan approval affected, but not much la. I took a 420k housing loan recently. Have 8 cards then. Still pass.

Nowadays banks just wanna make money hoping we forgotten to pay.

Ok let's head back to the topic. Train derailed.

Let's not derail. Later kena warn. Haha.

It seems that all banks do not want to waive annual fee liao..

I have SC LIVERPOOL FC CASHBACK and they will waive only if I opt to BT Plus or cash call plan...

If u do bigpay, u still gain one. Lesser only. But still earning.

Haha I don't really care actually. Just find that banks aren't consistent in their CL. All my bank CL I call to request lower just to ngam ngam earn CB and roll 2 mths. But SCB abit susah coz can't roll 2 mths. But nvm la. Haha

is CL so important?
do you need so much CL?

if you need, then just pick up the phone to ask for CL increase.

do remember, you are responsible for your CL, if your card is cloned, etc. you are responsible.
High CL doesnt mean anything!
*
Just it's weird that SCB gave me the lowest compared to other banks while she gets probably the highest of any banks. Curiosity. And ya I know higher CL doesn't mean anything. Been using CC for the longest time.

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Oct 7 2019, 12:05 AM)
I've called to downgrade my CL as I do not use that much. CL is not everything bro.
*
Haha yup for other banks, i actually called in to reduce. Some I reduce till 2k only. I wonder how banks determine CL. Anyway just a rant. Hahahaha
