Search through the forum regarding JomPay transaction, found mixture of answer.. can anyone share their experience on the 2 cards below:

1. Just One Platinum - are JomPay transaction treated as Online transaction and entitled for Cashback?

2. CashBack Gold Card - are JomPay transaction counted as retail transaction and entitled for cashback?

I have heard about the cashback of JustOne Master Card for sometime, but was always thought there are tricky rules to maximize the cb.

I would like to confirm after reading the JustOne Master Card from the StandChart website...

If I have insurance monthly auto payment of RM2500, I will get RM85 cashback every month without required any other swipe?

Sound a bit too good to be true.

Yes, is true

Is this the max cb for both cards per calendar month posted transactions? Was searching here and standchart websites, seem not seeing that. Care to share any link? TIA.

I am paying utility bill through SC internet banking. Also entitled for cashback, but must meet min spending la.

Which card? Gold cashback or JOP? As Gold cashback the eligibility is quite broad, but JOP is only for online, autodebit and Petrol.. that’s y I’m quite surprise they treat jompay as online purchase txn.

I used JOP for utitlity bill paid on SC internet banking.

QUOTE(lil_flank @ Sep 26 2017, 10:15 AM)
Both cards are eligible for cashback if using their SC internet banking to pay utilities. So actually u no need to use JOMpay.
*
So, SCB treat all payment via SC Internet Banking as Online transaction.. that’s y can Just One Platinum Card can get cashback for that..

QUOTE(jkngo2003 @ Sep 26 2017, 11:25 AM)
May I know what insurance can be paid using jompay.?

I never try this.

In my opinion, u will get the cash back. Coz jompay MCC code is 9399 government category no matter what u pay
*
As I know, Just One Platinum exclude all government & charities MCC related transaction, but some reported paying bill via Jompay get cashback wor..

Hi, the cash back calculation is based on transaction date or posting date in calendar month?
*
Suppose to based on posting date.. but SCB statement only shown transaction date without posting date, so, it should based on txn date

Standard Chartered website explaining the cashback tier is so confusing. I own the Justone card and Cashback gold now.

While I understand the cashback for Gold Cashback Card:
<RM500 : No cash back
>RM500, <Rm800 : 2%, max RM10
>Rm800, <RM1500 : 3%, max RM25
> RM1500 : 5%, max RM50

(excl. Petrol & Insurance)

Can anyone explain a little on the Justone card?

EDITED: corrected cashback tier.
*
JustOne:
1,000-1,499.99 - 5% capped at RM12
1,500- 2,499.99 - 10% capped at RM28
2,500 and above - 15% capped at RM85

Cashback only granted for Autobilling, Online and Petrol transactions.

If I use Just 1 Plat on both month as below, can I get RM85 cash back for each month?

1) Nov - RM2500 only on online purchase
2) Dec - RM2500 only on paying insurance (not auto bill but through insurance online portal)

Thanks

Nov yes
Dec no,

But dec can get rm85 if u spend petrol or online rm567 on top of your 2500

Got charged 1.2% for a RM1500 transaction made on Shopee. Called up CS and they said that Shopee's card terminal is based in Singapore and this fee cannot be waived.
What a waste.

I thought their cross border fee is 1%? Since when increase to 1.2%
