Talking about SMS. I received above SMS-es and the thing is the only product I have with SCB is their savings account which is dormant since years ago and as a supplementary card holder for Cash Back Gold.

I got verification call from SCB on Thursday's evening for my applications, these SMS-es came in yesterday's evening. Looks I gotta give them a call soon. I do admit my company's address and phone no. have changed due to office relocation. I filled in latest information in my application form.

Hopefully that means my applications may be approved soon...

No more sign up promotion for sc credit card?

I have online banking with SCB and I logged in to check out the approved cards even and the CL though I still haven't got them yet.

To my surprise, SCB only approved RM 5k CL for me. Even the CS find it funny when they approved my WorldMiles but only gave me RM 5k CL which is not even 1x my monthly salary.

I had SCB cards 3 years ago and that time they gave me RM 15k, this time they only approved me RM 5k. I last got RM 5k when I got my first CC in 2010.

Sorry but I find it a bit ridiculous and I have voiced this out with my agent, the CS said I can enjoy the benefits first but I do feel a bit insulted... You approved me a card which requires at least 90k p.a. but gave me RM 5k CL... Don't know what are they thinking.

If I were to maximize my JustOne and SCB Gold, it will come close to 5k and I can't even enjoy 20-days free interest period before swiping for next transactions.

A bit disappointed and I may not activate these cards. I shall consider again now.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Maybe these days they have tightened up this CL thingy? I also prefer lower CL but definitely not just 5k for SCB cards since I applied SCB Gold Cash Back card and JustOne.

I didn't get SMS for my swipe more than rm100.. is it bcoz I use paywave instead of PIN n Pay?

what's the average time for the approval result? submitted via email to the sales officer last thursday. no reply till now

Why is it so hard to get a standard chartered cc?

First timer wants to get a CC, no loans, RM4.2k monthly and six figures in deposits, but still cant get standard chartered credit card.

Guys, I applied the platinum one card 2 months ago. I have 2 issues here.

1) Was promised by dealer that i would get RM150 rebate upon signing up the card
Received sms that the RM150 rebate had been credited to my account.
Logged into my account and cant redeem it as it does not appear on the cashback page.

2) Monthly cashback does not appear on my statement. Although my expenses was less than 1k, there
should be some cashback too right? I used my card for online purchases and petrol, but no cashback on those reflected on my statement.

Received my card, 5k limit as expected.

Do I have to notify them that I want to use my card here in Thailand? Do i need to call them? I had to inform HL for my essential visa card.

Just curious, the account is called 'Just One Cashback Platinum Prin', what does the Prin stands for?
