For SC , yes, you need to call them in order to use. Actually inside SC mobile has settings to use it online. But during my trip to swiss, the option is useless and had to call center to activated.

I called SCB 2 weeks ago to cancel my card. I received a callback around a week later (even though I insisted I wanted immediate cancellation but they said another agent will handle the cancellation itself).

That second agent offered me RM100 cashback on any RM200 spend by end of Jan 2023. Said the cashback will be credited on 31st March.

I thought a short while then insisted on a cancellation, but they seemed extremely pushy and even guilt tripped me (first I'm experiencing something like this!). The card was eventually cancelled today. A very long process I feel, where some banks can do it on the spot!

Anyways, my thinking was, rather cancel it ASAP so that the 6 months countdown starts and I can churn another round (for a minimum reward of RM600), instead of waiting over 2.5 months for an RM100 reward.

Dec still good can get more than 1%, Jan drop to about 0.5%. If no campaign, LFC can simpan drawer 

Quite difficult to get SST waiver from SCB, unless you threaten to cancel card, then they may offer rebate..

Is it easy to get annual fee waiver?

It's not just you guys - the chat function doesn't show up on the app for me as well. On the computer yes, but also same - only keluar blank screen.

Was calling to find out why I can't convert a transaction to the BNPL, 3 mth instalment function of the Smart card on my own, but had to select the kill switch option in the phone menu to talk to actual human. Turns out customer has to do that conversion themselves online or app, but if still cannot then call back, presumably for them to do it manually?

my no1 reason of holding into the priority status is because it is transferable to SG and HK too. So when i go either one country, i'll still enjoy the service there. if they don't offer cross border priority, i've would cancel it long time ago.   

i did take a look into the CIMB TWE and i admit the miles conversion is better. but unsure if i would wanna go thru the hassle of maintaining few cards/acc.

I overlooked last month payment, try to nego with Cust Service, can never reached them.
Automated voice keep asking me since I have the App access, settle inside the App.
In the end, I have to write inside their App. Best part, the app limit the number of characters I can type 

I apply due to the RinggitPlus in May 2023, until today no news or anything for the cashback or gift.

Then got called from someone claimed from SCB (using generic number).

Asked me to provide my last 4 digit for verification.
I said how about they tell me my last 4 digit and I verify instead, since there are some many scammer around.

They said cant do it.

I asked what it is about, they cant proceed since cannot perform verification. Hence both drop the call .
