I cancelled via online banking. Probably took them about a couple weeks. Didn't get any call to keep the card, but I stopped answering long before this anyhow LOL. Might've gotten a text letting me know I could still uncancel, but no other incentive to hang on to it.

Then again, I still got another card... hmm.gif

Yeah, I was ready to cancel when they announced the Simply Cash, before I was due for a new card. Oh wells. Saved myself the AF charge and the obligatory reach out for waiver.

It's not just you guys - the chat function doesn't show up on the app for me as well. On the computer yes, but also same - only keluar blank screen.

Was calling to find out why I can't convert a transaction to the BNPL, 3 mth instalment function of the Smart card on my own, but had to select the kill switch option in the phone menu to talk to actual human. Turns out customer has to do that conversion themselves online or app, but if still cannot then call back, presumably for them to do it manually?

Finally managed to convert one of the over RM500 purchase to the 3 mth, 0% interest instalment on the Smart card; it just took several working days for it to post and have the option to convert to instalment show up online. It's a FlexiPay Plus transaction.

Had to press 1 for emergencies in order to talk to someone for AF waiver.

According to person I spoke to, still have to call them for it and said to press 5 (Account Information), 3, then 0 (presumably to talk to human), but after pressing 5, cannot get past the "key in NRIC/card number" step ..so how? keep pressing 3 ah?

When I spoke with CS over the phone, apparently that "Fee Waiver" thing refers to late fees, etc, not annual fees...

If you want AF waiver, still got to call them. Use the emergency lane if you have to, cos Option 5 (Account Related Questions) is not working AT ALL

At least I didn't escalate to BNM; but their phone system is messed up - it shouldn't be this hard to call them for AF waiver.

Some more they make you CALL them for it now; last time can just live chat that shit, now it's like hen's teeth

Everyone here has been complaining about it, but long story short: emergency option will get you to a human.

Because when I spoke with someone, they said to press 5 for account enquiries, but speaking from personal experience, cannot.
