not so reliable. better if u can get a complete service history plus any repairs or faulty item claimed under warranty. overall the prince thp is good enough (smooth and punchy engine).

If you are new to French cars better look elsewhere. They are the most troublesome to maintain among Conti cars. Unless you have a lot of knowledge, know some good and cheap Pugeot specialists and know where to look for cheap spare parts and halfcuts don't touch. Of course they are cheap to buy used but they are cheap for a reason.

I looked into getting a used 308 turbo a few years ago. They were going for around 40k for a 3 year old, down from 120k new. While doing some research I discovered that it cost 3k to service and they are always breaking down.

Peugeot car are notoriously unreliable. Unless you have deep pockets and time to spend in the service centre, you'd better look elsewhere.

A 9 year old Mitsubishi isn't a great idea either.

You would be much better off finding something less glamorous and more reliable.

He wants a big lanci car for Proton money. We've all been there. Financially, it's madness but this is Malaysia. Your car is your status symbol and nobody wants Proton status.

As most car enthusiasts have found out to their cost, there is no such thing as a bargain car. Either you pay up front, in installments or for spare parts. Whatever way you shake it, you'll have to pay a lot of money to get from A to B.

I concur with you especially for "wish" choice.
Based on 5008 size, "wish" is the better choice.
Bigger would be like mentioned.

piece of advice I read in my thread, "stay away from P.R.C" car.
Peuge*t, Ren*ult and Citro*n
And Fo*d and Volkswa*en too!

We have so many thread discussion on peugeot cars... Maybe you should start doing your homework regarding to your question before buying it. Or later, I would aspect you open more thread again begging for solution or complaining why your car keep breakdown, maintenance so expensive... Etc etc.

A free advice :avoid peugeot cars if you don't have deep pocket, spare vehicle or time on repairing it. (an advice from me as a peugeot owner of 308(sold), 406 , 407 and 508).

Few example parts price tag that are more than rm2k: windscreen, air cond compressor, turbo, top overhaul... Etc etc

This car price may be depreciates, but the price of spare parts remain as it is new car.

If u clueless about cars or simply ignorant, stay away from French marque. U will regret it.

Parts are expensive and u need specialist workshops which are also expensive. Not everywhere has one. If the car breaks down say in Kedah, you're out of luck but to tow it back to KL which will cost a bomb.

If u still insist on getting one, please do some home work. Go make friends with specialist workshops and chop shop bosses. Join a local forum also. Naza is useless when it comes to used Peugeot cars. They will mark up 200-300%.

Grandis is a fuel guzzler. Better dun buy n its a very old car. But 7 ppl is comfy
5008 fuel save but that 2 person at 3rd row will sakit buntut n pinggang if long journey . No space to carry luggage with 7 ppl

5008 If u normally carry only 4 to 5 ppl . Its a great n fun car to drive.
