Hi Nik,

Well Nik, sad to hear that, but SLB is not the only good company out there. Don't feel bad about it ok.. Even if you passed the whole interview process, the real "interview" only starts the first day at work.. biggrin.gif

From what I heard Talisman is a good company, but I can't say anything more than that as I don't really know..sorry.

I would have been working for SLB for more than 2 years now but I already left more than a year ago. Still with oil n gas company tho..
I'm just a dirty mechanic  biggrin.gif

Guys,

for your info there' a clause in SLB employee manual : 'Termination "without cause"...=they can terminate you if they don't like you/ financial crisis/ down sizing

And, its without any mercy. Once you join SLB..dare to face this kind of risk.

My first interview with schlumberger was previously during my uni final year last year. I failed for the first interview session. Maybe no luck that time.

Currently I am working as sales engineer on pressure vessel parts for one year in oil and gas industry. Now after reading all the post here I am thinking of trying my luck back for working at SLB.

Is there any chances for me to get this job even though I am in the different background for 1 - 3 years?

Please advice.

Thanks.

you can park in 1 First Avenue Building for RM1 per entry.
however, this is because the building is not fully commissioned. once most tenants occupy the building, you will have to pay for season parking. (charges to be advised)
