well 1st they try camber scam me, they say got -0.8 camber, need change to straight them back, if not tayar will makan.
Proton lotus handling uses -0.6 to about -1.2 camber woo.

plus when they installed my tyre, they overtorque one of the lug nut. Other shop i go have to brake may bolt to take it off. Elok2 i just nak tukar lug nuts da kene ganti bolt sekali.  vmad.gif
*
check the local spec for proton is 0-0.5.lotus i think different spec because it is more like a sport car, need 0.6-1.2 for stability.
just like bmw/mercedes i saw the spec 1.0-1.5 is still good.if u notice usually big car sure got makan tyre a bit inner side.sometimes more.
overtorque is quite unlucky because of their foreign worker issue, should be not well trained enough or new worker maybe lol.
btw hankook tyre can look for teoh brother, recently a lot of members recommend his hankook quite cheap.18 inch only rm 320 for 225/40/18 for a good tyre is worth.

tq bro.

One more thing, i got this setting list from iriz forum but dont really understand how to read it:
FRONT WHEELS Value Allowance
Toe-in - 0.05° - 0° 3’ 0” ± 0.02° ± 0° 1’ 12”
Camber - 0.40° - 0° 24’ 0” ± 0.50° ± 0° 30’ 0”
Caster 4.29° 4° 17’ 24” ± 0.50° ± 0° 30’ 0”
Side-slip IN 3 ~ OUT 3 ---

REAR WHEELS Value Allowance
Toe-in 0.17° 0° 10’ 12” ± 0.17° ± 0° 10’ 12”
Camber - 1.50° - 1° 30’ 0” ± 0.50° ± 0° 30’ 0”
Side-slip IN 6 -
STEERING ANGLE Value Allowance
Inner Wheel (°) 39.7 ± 1.00
Outer Wheel (°) 32.6 ± 1.00
For this one for example- Camber - 0.40° - 0° 24’ 0” ± 0.50° ± 0° 30’ 0”

does the ± 0.50° means the front camber can be acceptable at  0.10° to - 0.90°??

Sorry not thread related  biggrin.gif
*
i'm not an expert.just my thought,it say for front it should be mean the suitable reading is inside 0 to +-0.5 (24’ 0” 30’ 0” ignore this i think this is the same as the - 0.40° - 0°± 0.50° ± 0° only different measurement unit use).
for the rear is irrelevant because iriz dont have alignment for rear.that vale might just be for reference if the axle/torsion beam is bengkok or not after using for a long time/accident/collision that cause the axle bengkok.
btw ur car is iriiz?

hows the v12 road noise compared to ps3??

And hows the noise compared to comfort tyre like cc6??
*
cc6 is the most quiet and comfort among the 3 but damn not confident on wet with these cc6.
although v12 is directional but review settle not noisy.
i feel no difference with ps3 for noise level maybe is my car issue.

Test every pressure yourself  (first pump to 40 psi then test if too bumpy then release 1 or 2 psi and then test again), you'll know when you find out the best tyre pressure (for your car).
For the grip in theory is lower psi better, but more risk of blowing the tire if pressure too low....
Im not using v12 but I pump my front tire cold pressure to 38psi, mine tire size is 205/55/R15 thumbsup.gif
Wait a minute, after doing some internet browsing, I just realized that V12 evo2 don't has 215/55/R16 size.... I'm very sad now cry.gif

Questions below not important anymore, because I don't have other choice sad.gif

Hi all sifu2, today i went to a TOYO tyre shop looking for 215/55/R16 tyre, when I ask about Hankook V12 he told me this tyre very expensive so no one sell it... is it true?? Compare to Toyo T1R, CF2 and NE03.

Thank you
*
yeah 215 55 16 is rare abit. hard to find tyres.
usually can find achiles/michelin primacy 4 and continental mc5 about rm rm 380-390+-

That remind me when NanoEnergy 3 first launched...then it become god tier eco class tyre lol.
That's why need to test your own to find out which suit better for your style, too much factors can effect the feeling.
Actually I'm not a person who intent to pump the pressure to 40PSI, but it's the pump at petrol station malfunction then pump in too much pressure than the target I set (33PSI).
But what surprised me is 40PSI better than 33PSI lol (on my car of course).
Yep rare special size, only those expensive tyre come in this size.....
Does MC5 still in production? I know that MC6 don't has this size.

Hmmm out of topic I better stop discuss other tyres in v12 thread....

Thank you all sifu~

mc5 stil have.so far havt seen mc6 in market for this size.now is cheaper already.i remember mc5 was rm 400+..now maybe rm 370+-
