Today, managed to increase the V12EVO2 pressure from 35 to 36psi. Feels better ride and handling.

I was quoted the Falken fk510 rm430 per pc for 215/45/R17 and out of my budget. Next change will consider.

Might as well go for PS4 at 350 for this size. No budget that time so opt for v12e2 at 270, else sure go for PS4 sweat.gif

Just to give you guys some idea about the 320 treadwear. Here is my usage over 40k+ km.

- Rotate every 10k km (front to back vice versa)
- Every month outstation twice, 50% highway, 50% B roads with uneven surfaces, potholes
- Daily driven, 80% city 20% highway

Front sets changed on Aug 2018
Rear sets changed on Jan 2018

Noticed the chipping circled in red. No sure whether is caused by uneven road or tyre compound too soft?? confused.gif you guys faced this?

Has the grip levels reduced drastically as the tyres wear out?

Nop, wet and dry grip still very good. High speed cornering has little to no understeer. Steering still felt sharp and precise. ESC does not trigger at all on the same stretch of road after switching to V12E2 from Falken 912/914 and could even carry a higher speed. The Falken will trigger ESC whether on dry or wet.

1 thing I encountered was aquaplane. Last week was doing a long left turn at around 80-90kmh with heavy downpour. I felt the car 'lifted' for like half a second on the right side. ESC does not trigger. Scare me a little cuz steering had no road feedback at that moment but then it regains traction immediately. Gotta avoid puddles.

Mine not exactly chipping, but can see added wear on the points you circled. Maybe because you corner very kuat tongue.gif Or maybe because your area road surface not fantastic?

From your pictures, my gut feeling is about right that this tyres max life is about 50000km. Seems like you're going for tyre shopping around chinese new year next year biggrin.gif

Corna moderate kuat biggrin.gif Could those terrible b roads in Perak.

Yeah rear sets going out soon. Tempted to downgrade to 205/55r16 from 215/45r17 for more comfortable ride. But 16" with 5 holes is hard to find and front sets still got some life left unsure.gif

Was told by 3 Tyre shops that the V12 Evo2 is not in production anymore, new one replacing is the K125 Ventus Prime 3. Is this true? Anyone tried this model?
*
Could be S1E3. I don't see V12E3 exist yet.

The S1E2 and S1E3 are oem for most BMW, Audi and some Merc. Models like 740Le, i8, X5, RS4, S5 are using the S1. Quite impressive I'd say. Cant wait to try them out.
