I am interested to get a German Sheperd but my friend told me that they have some weak back legs when they start getting old or age. Is this true and how can I avoid this from happening?
Edit: I'm planning to get a good guard dog for my house and also a source of companionship for me at the house. Previously I have two stray dogs before (rescued them) but they died of old age. My GSD was admitted to hospital and doctor say she may not make it.
