A very good game I would say. Non stop attacking effort by the team. And Rooney performed very well tonight. Maybe all the criticism and getting dropped from the starting line up is giving him the fire again.
Glimpses of greatness started to shown from Mkhi. First half quite slow, but shines very well in 2nd half. Hopefully he regain his confidence soon and fight for his places in the lineup again. For some reason, having Blind and Carrick in the lineup make me feel that our defence is safer. I pity DDG though, always played well but rarely clean sheet. And this time Romero took his place and clean sheet with 2 excellent saves. By the way, I never knew that JM was keen on buying Valencia during his days in Real Madrid. He wanted him as a left back, back then. Now he got his wish and maybe that is why Valencia is now the most improved player under his management.
