vicfirth,
Could it be your internet connection or preference settings that be the problem? I haven't had problems logging onto my M2U account from Safari smile.gif

where did you try to login?
what mac you are using?
what ISP you're using?
did you install any application that might alter you internet setting?
did you change any setting on you network?
did you try other browser?

vicfirth,
I think it's ok to reset Safari to default settings - on default settings mine worked.... i haven't had time to 'undefault' my settings yet actually *grins*, other than enable tab browsing... smile.gif

Good Luck!

PS: Would firewall have anything to do with it?

As far as i know, P2P software do not alter your system setting. You might want to look into your:
- System Preference > Network (See if there's any proxy setting, default should be all off)
- System Preference > Sharing (See if the firewall is on, turn it off to test)
- Lastly is to re-set your router/modem to default and test it
