Just to share with you. You need to know what kind of player are you and what heroes you are good at.
If you like a certain hero, let's say Balmond. This hero can't do much. So u gotta pick other hero which is good now for example, Silvanna/Chou/ Badang.
It's a teamwork hero.
Basically what i did to solo is FIRSTLY to understand how the solo rank in public works around.
Most of the time, you will see that public players will always request core heroes and doesn't wanna tank.
If u become the core (like Marksmen) then the public player will simply play and doesn't care much about the game because there's a lot of kids around (Not joking)
Unless you are a freaking good MM and got a good record of WR. They will be more convinced to tank for you.
If you become the support/tank, public players will have the heart to focus on the game better.
Also you must know the current meta now. What hero is good and what not. Don't simply use any heroes which doesn't help or contribute much to your team.
Thank for advice bro, i admit i'm just not good enuf to carry my ass at this stage anymore, but i'm just furious there are alot ppl seems VERY bad and didnt even noe the basic. They don focus on objective, jz wanna kill from beginning. Tank or fighter stealing buff, or ppl all focus on one lane while enemies push through sidelane tower w/o ppl defending. I alone how to run top n bot n defend all by myself LOL. Also, sometimes those AFK really
I read abt the meta, i'm generally a mm, because i just couldnt trust our mm. In elite to master i've been playing assassin but i notice no matter the number of ppl i kill it can never get around the amount of my team feeding, alot times i notice my team did 0 turret dmg, so i switch back to mm n focus on pushing, n yea i got through to GM easily.
Now in GM, this won't work anymore, i as mm don even get good enuf farm n protection from team. Switch to support role but our mm SUCKS(yes i really cant trust those kid), sometimes our tank stand very far behind while fighter/ass stand the most front LOL. Also i noticed almost every game there will be one crazy good 'smurf' carry the team which can be very frustrated if they r my enemy instead of ally.
I'm a new player so i have only basic heroes, purchased gusion(ass) and granger(mm) recently, also jz get luo yi(mage) yesterday. I'm saving hero fragments to get Xborg(fighter), 20+ more to go.
Just hope to get through GM asap n i cant wait to epic draft already.
