I just browsed through the guitar threads and I see loads of electric , acoustic players.

I guess classical is just really dead?

I play classic.

i played classical too...in fact taking class for it...

Not dead.
Some electric guitarist play classical too. Heck, even the harmonic minor scale sound classical and 'dark'

yup... don't forget to throw in a few diminished and phrygian-dominant arpeggios while you're at it...

there's always a classical guitar right next to me to play everyday instead of plugging the electric one and hook up the effects and all that...

but if you were asking about is it dead in terms of artists and all...you can always check Paco De Lucia
