Hi . I'm currently 16 years old and i want to take culinary arts diploma offered by Taylor's University . As stated , i have to get at least 3 credit and a pass in Bahasa Melayu , English and History . What is actually a pass ? If i get B on Bahasa Melayu , English and History , did i already fullfill the requirements ? I am making an early preparation . Culinary arts . My last option . Since i am taking graphic design but i cannot draw and computer science but i dont take Additional Math and Biology etc .

Why you choose IPTS instead if IPTA? Any reason?
BTW, credit means you need to get C and above. D consider not credit.

Anything above fail is pass.
Credit is anything above C.

Actually there is an event like umm i dont know what to say they come to the school like advertising / promoting at their booth of university . And as i know , IPTS requires only 3 credits and IPTA requires 5 credits . So it is better to take IPTS since i don't usually get more than 5 credits . If you have your suggestion between the IPTA and IPTS , please state which one more worthy .

IPTS requires less credits because more students register, more money they will get.
Graphic design is in what stream? What is the subject you took for SPM?
You are bumi or non-bumi? If bumi, UiTM also got diploma in culinary arts.

I dont know . But some people say graphic designer need the drawing skill . And my drawing skill is like standard 3 one . It is Perdagangan and Ekonomi Asas . What is bumi and non-bumi . Im in Bumi class . I mean the class name is 4 Bumi . You are from SMKSI ?

Haha! 4 bumi? Just coincidence. I mean bumiputera or non-bumiputera. Bumiputera is referring to those Malay race and other indigenous peoples. Yeah, graphics need someone who can draw. How about taking business courses since it's related with your stream. Better you ask your counselor about this. You need to be clear about how to further study to a higher level.

okay. on serious note. I guessing you're bumi (based your your lyn ID name).

so no worry. UiTM kan ada.. cheap fees.. even lower than any other IPTA.. (true story). that's why it's no 1 choice for bumi's.. and they also got the largest allocation for 2017 budget compare with all the IPTA in Malaysia.

i think he's the type of person who doesnt care any bit about outside news and politics lol. i'm surprised as well.

Im not from uitm, but i know their procedure. Uitm graphic design will ask you to attend interview, test your drawing skill. This is for degree level.

Diploma level i dont know.
