Lol you never bought any whey protein is it? I've bought gold standard before and that packaging looks plain with no gold label.

I did,

But my question is based on the picture posted which part does it looked fake?

A genuine question and not protecting the seller.

See the mention of wakil cap dagang ON?

A rep from the company would be able to tell easily.

Many giveaways can present themselves in replicas, e.g. the seal not reflecting light the exact same way, the serial code is of a slightly different font size or type, the thickness or smoothness of the printed label, the exact color tone of the prints, etc.

it could still also mean 'grey market' sets.

It could. But that would also mean the FB post mentioning "tiruan" is potentially misleading.

yea but u know the media here...
from that potato shot, the packaging looks decent...even got seal on top.

the facebook sales posts all not existant anymore...so dunno if those showed the fake items...
but ON for RM175...the difference is around RM30-40 compared with official ones...
so my guess is still they imported it thru unofficial means.

It's KPDNKK's official FB page. (if that lends any credence, I get what you mean tongue.gif )

But on a neutral note, from these shots, you can't really infer anything, as a copy would look really similar.

Can only spot differences in terms of, for example, the plastic tub's supplier and marks.

If it's unofficial, well I woulndn't mind buying as a consumer, but if it's a fake, darn a**h****.

I recently bought a tub of Dymatize whey 10lbs from a Lelong seller called Puppyseven for RM 280. That's even cheaper than this fake seller is selling it for!

Now I'm worried the one I got may be fake too. That seller is legit right? I found him when someone mentioned him over here in the forums.

Think KPDNKK acts mostly on consumer's complaint, eg re price, authenticity, scams, frauds etc, so safe to assume that those are bogus products.

If it involves unpaid duty then should be customs who act on it.

Time to review our usual suppliers then..
