they offered FULL car in 1300rm, which is way too much discount and seems fishy
Should I go for it

I was thinking maybe they cheat me and install "Raytech AC" instead, as broucher price for it is just 1100 rm.

Pegi normal shop la, 500 can get good tint already.
I used llumar then after accident use normal tinted, sama feeling, jimat lagi.

from which shop did you get the tint? brand ?

Has anybody else used Raytech solar film ? How's the experience, please share. Thanks

am using their ax series
so far so good ,but worst workmanship,have to claim warranty coz have some dirt on the tinted

3 years of use for raytech .. forgot what series already ..
install it at ss2 branch..

their film defect alot, been change few time (first i tot is bubble, but actually the film itself got thick bubble like) ..
then their workmanship not so good ... but no choice, car dealer offer the tint to me when i brought new car.
edit : i still remember they not install the door handle to me after tint, after my car done and park outside (they ask for payment) then i check only notice ..

not sure other branch will have the same problem or not btw need to double check all the windows they tint..
cause u you pay alot for the tint too ..

as long as they spot defect sure will change for u?
i'm going to claim mine too ,two dirt at driver side ,and i am not happy to look at it on my ride

They do provide 5/7 years warranty and claim to re-tint in case of any defect.
and when they'll remove the old tint, all the dirt will also come off, so new tint will be all good, hopefully

they will judge that is defect or you made it ..

dont go for the stupid raytech. They scam people one.

So basically I received a tint voucher of RM350 when I bought a car.

I went to one of their branch and ask, whats the cheapest package you guys got?

they told me, cheapest RM159. Its free just basically the 159 is labour fee. But they told me its lousy like shit. No difference one. Recommended me go for the 500+ one.

I went to another branch, this time I didnt mention voucher. They told me cheapest package is RM180. Same specs as the RM159 that I was offered in previous branch.

So basically. My RM350 raytech tint voucher only saves RM21 in total LOL. In the end I went to a normal tint shop do better.

I did similar tactic to those RayTech dealers in LYN. After I ask them why my voucher only worth RM21. All straight diam diam and won't reply me anymore.

For heaven's sake, don't go for this stupid tint. Not to mention all their sales person and staffs are all Ah bengs that cannot even speak any english at all.

u should ask the 2nd branch wat is ur pay with voucher when they told u the tint is just worth 180
btw ,i got 500 voucher and i apply an ax tint which worth 1400 ,after - 500 i got 10% discount somemore so = 810 nett

In reality maybe your 1,400 only cost/ worth like 500 in normal tint shops only

I basically want the cheapest package cause tight budget as well. In the end I went for outside tint around RM200 (75% & security tint), workmanship as shitty as raytech though. But they wont run la, my warranty like 7 or 10 years. Got bubble I already changed once already. This weekend gonna change again cause got new bubbles popping up.

In the end quite satisfied la, seriously the quality / heat reduction is WAYYYY better than the Raytech cheapest package RM159. Happy that I didn't get scammed by those idiots.

I got raytech tint free as I buy my new car two months ago.

That raytech ac u can get for below rm1k. I Just asking raytech at melaka several weeks ago. So, I dont think they cheat u. Quite good actually raytech.

I am using Raytech AC, so far the heat rejection is ok.

Forget about the voucher when you buying new car, that is gimmick between your SA and the shop.

I will just tell my SA discount the amount from my car price, no need any voucher.

raytech seller is tricky..i know this since 5yrs ago when i get my 1st Myvi .... so u got to be smart . even my new honda city is using raytech Rm500 tint ... thats the max . i wont pay anything more than RM500 for raytech tint .

They also claim that in case of any summons, they will pay it. True or just a marketing gimmick ??

Raytech tint is good but the workmanship is very poor. When they tint my car i saw some dust in the tint & straight away complain but they said its bubble. Have to let it rest for 3-7 days. So i wait for several days, the dust spot still there.so i went back there to claim. They admit it & redo the windscreen tint again. But there still some dust in the tint but different location. When i ask the installer immediately said that they cannot get 100% dust free and bla.. bla in annoying manner. And the windscreen tint look distorted. I didn't have this problem with 3m tint. Afraid to go back and claim again.

Not sure if help. I have installed the Coolmaster from Subang Taipan area. Got it from groupon, 189rm iinm, but below 200rm.

Spec seem good, safety 6 mil, IRR90% , TSER forgot.

Test it at yard area in Lumut. Suprising it perform well during noon time. Park from 800-1500.

Luckily i didnt tint my car with raytech

i use Raytech FX series, so far the workmanship to my car is very good.
i do at Raytech Setapak.
so far quite satisfied with the tint quality, just FX not enough if you park you car under the sun for more than 30 minutes. must go to the highest, but cost a lot of money.

They workmanship was excellent no complains at all !

They also verified the sheet before application with the solar meter and also after the installation.

The heat rejection is too good, my acon is running at minimum now, I'm a happy and satisfied customer
one additional thing, which I was very much concerned was visibility, the tint is very light color and from inside feels like no tint at all and I am very happy to find that, nearly the same visibility at night as before. Excellent visibility and superb heat rejection in one package - too good to be true

with naked eye its impossible. you need a solar meter or an IRR meter to judge the quality of sheet.

Guys i got an offer to do raytech AX security tinted (RM1400) got discount 40% to RM840. Just bought the new saga and car dealer give me this offer. Should i go for it? Any other better choice?

Don't worry as they will give you warranty card.. Mine is 7 years warranty and i can claim it at any Raytech branch

I've tinted with the Raytech FX. They gave me for the price of AX series. The result...totally disappointed.
The heat rejection is not good as claimed by other Raytech user. I can feel the burning sensation especially on my arm when the sunlight is directly on my right side.
Why I am disappointed? It's not value for money. I've tinted my earlier ride with those unbranded tint film and it's much much cheaper. Most important I don't get the burn sensation eventhough direct sunlight.
My advice...if you really want this brand, then get their highest spec film in terms of heat rejection.

bro, i am also using AX Centurion Series Black, i got 1k voucher from my Honda car sales man, i end up paying 400 only, that time they do it at the showroom when my car arrived there, seems like no problem.

But few days ago, my friend who work in 3M before ask me why my tint is blur, i don't know what he talking about and i ask him to explain to me, he teach me how to see, he say there is a wave form lines or straight lines when you see from different angle. You can try open the door and you stand outside near the door or side step of your car to see the image from the windows, if there is grass will be better cos you can see the blurred image of the grass from the windows. Yes, truly there is blur image but when you driving you will not notice it.

My friend say it is due to quality of the paper. Then I rush to Raytech Seri Kembangan and get it fixed. Eventually, they help me replace 4 of side windows. I request to change the front window also as my friend say all window got this kind of issue as well. However, the lady boss don't want to replace front window (maybe it cost more to change that). Eventually, I just accept their offer.

After they change all my side windows, the next day i also go back to the shop. Why? Because of bad workmanship, my driver side windows got bubble. Then, spend time to change that as well. I can see the staff is lack of experiences, the staff need to use 2 film to tint my driver side windows. After they use the 1st film, i thought they finish already but the staff tear that film again and use a new one to tint again. This can show that the staff is not skillful enough.

Eventually, today is still within the 48 hours since my tint is fixed, my friend say the issue still persists. Then, I just accept the fact that Raytech film is not quality enough. But nevermind since i just pay RM400 for whole car tint.

lack customer services ,appointment at 11am as follow their advice
wait until 1pm i ask them wat i waiting for since they just working for just arrived vehicle ,which mean skip my warranty claim and work for others 1st
after my complain ,the staff go to person in charge and i can obvious heard they were saying just simply handle those car 1st ,as they have too many car is waiting
1st claim for dirt on the tint ,2nd is for scratch on the tint ,just 1 passenger side window claim and it take 3 hours to get it done
their tint is ok ,but workmanship and customer services ,big no la

mine also take 2 hours to do it. If want get better tint, go for 3M or LLumar

but Raytech SK got many leng lui staff..

i wait for 2hours and my car still park at outside ,the whole process just took about half hour if no mistake
because i have voucher and the raytech just opposite where i bought my car
so my salesman help me get it done lo ,besides my budget also around 1k only for tint
dint spot any lenglui ,so far seen 1 aunty which is ok services ,and another 1 is the stupid customer services keep blow water only

The lenglui is inside office one. Then sometime got people come in to take stuff.. must be family business..

If tint Raytech in SK , can claim warranty for re-tinting from other Raytech branch?

Thought Raytech using quality USA tint? Wonder many claim it got quality issue?

Heard 3M got problem it easy to scratches?

I use FX 20 and MC 35 for front. Overall satisfied

Dun get raytech if possible. See my siggy. There are many more better choices for that price range.
